_____________________________________________________________________

Well I have been a member on here for a while now - always read but hardly posted. I have always trained but have been stuck in a bit of a plateau probably due to my low intensity workouts and not eating properly [lots but not often]. So have stuck at the same weight and body shape for a long time.

I am 5"8 and have been stuck around the 11st 7 mark [not too lean - but not podgy if you know what I mean] 27 years old.

I started reading alot on here again and have decided to to for it big time - I want to be a lean builder.

I started around a month and a half ago. Eating more protein and more complex carbs more often. I also increased my workout intensity, and forcing myself to lift in perfect form slowly [which meant me dropping some of my lifting weight].

I have measured myself and have made the following gains:-

Neck - 2cms
Arms - 0.5cms
Waist - stayed same
Chest - 2 cms
Quads - 2.5cms
Calves - 0.5cms

So pretty good gains considering I am not a new trainer. However my diet wasnt perfect.

My waist satyed the same so I knew I need to throw in some cardio.

I bought a Lamond Revmaster 2 and added it in my routine since, plus have tried better with my diet.

Here is my current workout week:-

MONDAY
Morning Cardio = 30mins @ 65% MHR.
Evening = Shoulders
Abs

TUESDAY
Morning Cardio = 30mins @ 65% MHR.
Evening = Back and Biceps

WEDNESDAY
Morning Cardio = 30mins @ 65% MHR.
Abs

THURSDAY
Morning Cardio = 30mins @ 65% MHR.
Evening = Legs & Calves
Abs

FRIDAY
Morning Cardio = 30mins @ 65% MHR.
Evening = Chest and Triceps

SATURDAY
Morning Cardio = 30mins @ 65% MHR.
Abs

SUNDAY
Morning Cardio = 30mins @ 65% MHR.
Abs

Lots of cardio as I like to see what I am building. Slowly does it!

My Diet:-[thanks to TT]

06:30 - Wake, Black coffee.

7am - Cardio

08:00 - 100g oats, in 100ml skimmed milk,
10 egg whites nuked in microwave,
black coffee, 2 x scoops of myprotein whey in water.

10:00 - 2 tins tuna, 30g wholemeal pasta,
Salad.
l
13:00 Shake:2 x scoops whey.

15:30 2 x tins tuna,
30g wholemeal pasta,
veg,

17:30 Weights workout.

18:30 150g lean red meat/chicken,
100g wholemeal pasta or basmati rice,
veg.

21:30 40g protein blend shake.

I am also taking creatine at the moment.

Through this routine I have not put on any weight [12st]but have made some more gains in measurements ontop of those above:-

Neck - 1cms
Arms - 1cms
Waist - lost 2 cms
Chest - 3 cms
Quads - 3cms
Calves - 1cms

So I look more defined than before, my veins stick out more on a good pump, eventhough my weight has stayed the same I think my body fat has decreased, and I have gained some measurements in the right places. So so far so good.

I am starting a AAS cycle next monday as follows:-

Sustanon (Karachi): Wk1-12 500mg Each week - split.

Brit Dispensary Anabol (Dianabol): Wk1-4 35mg Eday.

Brit Dragon Stanozolol (Winstrol): Wk10-14 50mg Eday.

Nolvadex (Tamoxifen): Wk15-17, 100mg day 1, 60mg Eday wk1, 40mg Eday wk2.

This is not the first time I have done a cycle [did one when I was 19, and one when I was 24] but have not nailed my diet and training when doing so.

This time is different!

Cheers,

Chris

RE: Focused, Dedicated, Can Nothing Stop Me? .... Im ChrisMac! - 16 April 2007 20:53
Today went good.

Cardio - 30 mins in THR with a empty stomach [except for my black coffee].

Diet went good - no cheating and plenty of water.

Done shoulders today.

Dumbell Press 4 x 10/12
Upright Rows 4 x 8/10
Shrugs 4 x 10
Side Raises 4 x 12

Abs - various.

Went good, I feel really strong eventhough I am doing the slowly, slowly, technique [so alien to me]

I feel like I need to cut carbs because the fat needs to come off more. Steady she does it!!?? Might do an ECA stack that I have spare wih the new cycle next week.

Right - I can see most of you have put progress pics up so although I really HATE doing this here are some of mine:-

This is around a year or so ago:-

These were taken around Feb this year:-

These were taken this week:-

As you can see I have a long way to go!!!!

Over and out

Its going good. If you see my delts in my newest pics and compare them to my delts in Febs pics b/w pic] they actually look bigger [and are bigger] - all whilst I have increased the amount of meals I have [smaller but more of] and my cardio.

I need to shape up more and loose some body fat hence the increased cardio. It was really hard getting up early for empty cardio for the first few weeks, especially having to workout in the evening aswell - but now I have got more energy and have slipped into the routine quite well [all thanks to my MP3 player - it would drive me insane otherwise!]

Im trying to get more lean gains now [more tricky I know] but I will have fun trying!

BTW thanks for the kind comments and for dropping in.

Oh and I have just noticed I have awful stretch marks in my back pose pic - will they go???

I hope the stretch marks do, i think they should, given time...

The delts are looking good yup...

Stick with the Cardio, its effort early in the morning, but IMO worth it in the long run (no pun intended)

Stick wth it all

PS im subscribed so keep track of how your doing!! lol

Today has gone good. Cardio spot on. Diet spot on except had some lean mince [spaghetti bol] for my evening meal.

I trained back and bi's today:-

Wide grip pull ups - 4 x 10/12 [with drop sets]
Close grip pull ups - 4 x 10/12 [with drop sets]
Bent over rows - 4 x 10 [each side]

Seated alternate curls - 4 x 12
Seated hammer curls - 4 x 12

Im finding slow reps really hard on back due to the heavy weights involved - but the arms love it! Had a huge pump when finished finally!

Another exciting thing about today - my AAS cycle has arrived!!!!

I had my first jab tonight. I warmed the oil up, so that it would go in easier. My other half completed the jab [250mg] in my right glute. It wasnt painful until the last of the oil was squeezed in. I then massaged it, walked it off, had a shower - it feels OK now. I bet it wont tomorrow morning for cardio! I also started the Dbol today to kickstart.

Chris.

Best gloves I have ever had!

They are really breatheable [unlike some sweat mits on the market] and grip good.

Cheers BTW

RE: Focused, Dedicated, Can Nothing Stop Me? .... Im ChrisMac! - 18 April 2007 10:31
lol. Well my pull ups were bodyweight only.

Dumbell rows were @ 40kgs dumbell - using 3 x seconds up, 3 seconds down - very difficult. I used to lift much more using my normal technique.

Same with the arm curls 15kg each dumbell slowly, slowly!

My jab has healed well - hardly any pain this morning. Just feels like a slightly overtrained glute. However cardio wasnt so good, I felt a bit sick towards the last 5 mins. Maybe I drank too much water whilst spinning??? Had to force my eggs down me too! Starting to feel a bit better now though

No weights tonight [day off see my split in my first post] so will just do some abs when I get home instead.

My other half is well impressed at the jab she gave me [the first one she has done!] so am I - there is no bruising or lump... I told her to put her nurses outfit on for next time! lol

Nice one CL.... Its getting more of a way of life rather than a routine, im loving it at the moment. Good luck with your revival too!

GR - It is hard for the mind doing the slow repititions as I had to cut my weight considerably - but the results so far have spured me on!

Back yesterday was good because I gave myself a bit more rest inbetween sets of rows - last week I went really dizzy and nearly had to finish my session early [big no no!!!] but managed to finish up bi's.

Sure is!

Got my second jab tonight to my other halfs delight!

Cardio was well weird today took hardly any effort to get to my target heart rate..... not ever been like that before. Maybe im coming down with something? Eggs were hard to gulp down again this morning, normally im sucking them up and wanting more.

Eventhough my resting heart rate is quite low [68] the force of my heart beat seems strong - I can feel it pounding away all through the day!

Oh well im on my way out by the sounds of it!

Legs tonight! If I dont have a heart attack before!

Legs done!

Slowly does it - that form was battering my quads!

Squats 4 x 10
Good Mornings 4 x 8
Calf Raises x 4 x 12

Whilst in he kitchen cooking up my meal [other half wont do it - she hates tuna!] she commented on how my twigs have become branches!!!!

Lets hope tomorrow mornings cardio is going to be good - ive been feeling sick everymorning since taking the gear [prob the dbol!]

Oh well having my jab after dinner!

RE: Welsh Blood Sweat and Tears - The Journal ***PICS ADDED PAGE 1*** - 20 April 2007 11:57
Thanks for dropping in!

Yes the other half is a star! She also works-out [fitness] so is probably much more understanding than most! Her only condition was that I dont tell anyone that I am injecting/taking gear [which I haven't done in that past and wont start now!] She is getting really good now, I didnt even feel last nights jab go in - only felt the last bit of gear squeeze in! Bless her!

My morning cardio was OK - but I decreased the intensity slightly [still had a sweat on and hit my HR] although my appetite is still slightly repressed. I normally down my oats, 10 egg whites, and whey - wanting more! now its much more of a struggle. My appetite throughout the day is fine though.

Im starting to wish i did a frontload with the sust instead of kickstarting with the Dbol.

Oh well no pain no gain and all that!

Chest and tri's tonight!
