The Graduate -> RE: PASTEURISED LIQUID EGG WHITES (May 23 2007 13:01:07)

Perhaps we should keep the discussion of other brands products in a seperate thread, just an idea as they have paid for this advertisment!

eggwhiteman -> RE: PASTEURISED LIQUID EGG WHITES (May 23 2007 22:58:13)

Cheers The Graduate!

I go away for a couple of days and the thread goeas all over the place!

To the guys quibling over the price if you buy 15Kg there is a 10% price discount bringing the 1Kg price to 1.79. OUr egg is fresh so it gives you the added bonus of being able to freeze as well as keep in the fridge. It is also in a convenient bottle that can be resealed as opposed to tetrapack where the top stays open and the egg goes everywhere when you close the door!

Also remember that where ever you are in the country (mainland UK) we can get it to you on an overnight delivery. We are offering a great service with great value.

As for freerange, it is unlikely that you will be able to get freerange LEW at a comparable price due to the constraints of production and the amount of eggs that you would need would demand huge areas for the birds to wander around in making it cost restrictive.

James -> RE: PASTEURISED LIQUID EGG WHITES (May 23 2007 23:47:41)

Do you want the offending posts editting EWM?

eggwhiteman -> RE: PASTEURISED LIQUID EGG WHITES (May 24 2007 14:00:39)

I don´t think that is necessary James. Competition never hurt anyone, it keeps me on my toes to ensure that I give the best prices, product and service around!

I would have thought that most of the posts are positive therefore it would be worth giving us a try, especially as it is such a good product!

Baywatch -> RE: PASTEURISED LIQUID EGG WHITES (May 24 2007 21:10:05)

How long can they be stored at room temp for?

The ones i have now say they can be stored at room temp for up to 6 months? Are these the same as my fridge/freezer isnt big enough to store such large qty's!

New2Lifting -> RE: PASTEURISED LIQUID EGG WHITES (May 25 2007 13:24:19)

don't understand the shelf life....on site it says 3-6 weeks, how do you know?
Further down it says on your egg certificate:
1/2/5 KG: 50 days @ 0/+4C
10/20 KG: 35 days @ 0/+4C

What does that mean? (I am a bit thick today...)

eggwhiteman -> RE: PASTEURISED LIQUID EGG WHITES (May 25 2007 21:07:51)

The Shelf life quoted refers to days life from manufacturing, if kept between 0 and 4 degrees. The larger the pack the shorter the shelf life, it has something to do with the way that the egg s packed and the bigger ones don't last as long, which is why I have gone with the 1 litre size to start with.

Personally I think that the refrigerated product is better than the one that is kept at room temperature, but I would say that. An egg in its shell only has a 6 week shelf life so by processing it so that it has a 6 month shelf life makes me wonder!

If the quantity is too much to take as one person, maybe you could get together with a couple of friends and order together? or speak to your gym and get them to get in touch with me. I would be happy to provide a fridge in a gym (not in everyones homes, I still have a wife and kids to feed!) that could then order when necessary and hold the stock for you? Just an option to think about to make it more accesible to more people.

Will8801 -> RE: PASTEURISED LIQUID EGG WHITES (May 25 2007 21:19:08)

Got to say well impressed with my order this week. £36 for 15kg delivered was great deal. Tried them in an omelette earlier and they tasted great

zb2612 -> RE: PASTEURISED LIQUID EGG WHITES (May 27 2007 22:41:51)

love my egg whites but get mine from eggnation usually. will have to check this out though see how it compares price wise

Willie -> RE: PASTEURISED LIQUID EGG WHITES (May 27 2007 23:00:26)

I'm going to put an order in for these tomorrow, cracking eggs takes up too much of my time.

Willie -> RE: PASTEURISED LIQUID EGG WHITES (May 29 2007 20:53:31)

What's the score with delivery being a five spot if you're with 5 miles of a synagogue? I'm not sure of the exact distance to my nearest one but it's about five miles.

(I'm hoping someone who's ordered might know and i'm going to phone the company in the morning before anyone says anything)

Edit: just checked the AA website, 4.7 miles [8D]

eggwhiteman -> RE: PASTEURISED LIQUID EGG WHITES (May 29 2007 22:03:16)

Willie

If your 4.7 miles from the Synagogue in Glasgow, then you will have the LEW delivered by one of my drivers next Monday and it will cost a maximum of £5. If you order over £75 (which you can do if we are putting it on our van) then there would be no delivery charge.

We come to Glasgow nearly every week as we deliver to a few shops and such like there.

Hope that makes sense.[:D]

Willie -> RE: PASTEURISED LIQUID EGG WHITES (May 30 2007 11:35:18)

Perfect sense cheers - just placed an order there.

Fatboy80 -> RE: PASTEURISED LIQUID EGG WHITES (Jun. 1 2007 15:56:17)

I stumbled across these guys a couple of months ago, excellent product, service and delivery. A big thumbs up from me! [:)]

Red Man -> RE: PASTEURISED LIQUID EGG WHITES (Jun. 13 2007 10:32:32)

Excuse my ignorance but what is a Synagogue? Im looking at putting an order in and have no idea about how far i am from one or what it is... Temple?? [:(]

eggwhiteman -> RE: PASTEURISED LIQUID EGG WHITES (Jun. 13 2007 13:35:38)

No problems

It is a place of worship for Jewish people.

The reason why we have a different rate if you live near to one is that we deliver a lot of kosher food products to the jewish community. So if you live near one of those areas we can put the LEW on the van and drop it off to you.

Where abouts in the North west are you and I'll tell you how much it will cost and the best way we can get it to you.

If you don't want to put it on the forum, email me and I will answer you in private.

Cheers
