Hope your weepy bit is ok. Orange peel is supposed to be good at keeping the slugs at bay. Not tried it myself (can't eat oranges on this stupid diet)

Aw Thanks! Going seeing the nurse about my leakage in a couple of hours so should know more then! As for not going to the gym.....I'm there every bloody day lol. All day everyday. Paul has a gym and it's where I have my massage practice. It's been aweful not being able to train or do my Win Chun. The worst is I don't feel ill or anything but I know my body is not yet up to that kind of exhertion. Only 3 more weeks to go though....although when I stop leaking I will probably do some cardio!

Haha no worries, i like the beach but i hate the taste of sea water. I was on a beach in Jamaica a few years ago and the sea looked almost drinkable, after a quick swim i remembered why i hated the sea.

Yep...it looks nice sometimes but the fact of the matter is would stood upright, walk out of it and lost our bloody gills for a reason.....we don't belong there so don't mess with evolution!!!!! I had thought of doing the 'swimming with dolphins' thing in NZ but I'm now wondering if maybe I just keep my eye out for a beached one to avoid having to go in the sea!

OK....officially MIFFED!!!!!! Taking the dressin off Leak NUmero Uno last night I caught a wee bit of remaining scab next to it. It didn't come off so I just put a new dressing over all of it! Woke up the morning woth Leak Numero Two!!!!!!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Went straight to the hospital which luckily is just down the road. Had it checked out by Dr who said it looked ok but gave me some anti-biotics as a precaution! I'm such a naive dip! I thought I'd be all healed and back on track by now. I feel fine.....I just leak! Am thinking of seeing a plumber There was me yesterday planning getting back into training next week, looking longingly at the treadmill, winking at the leg press, wiping the dust off the baby dumb bells......ah well

As one leak closed....another opened!!!! Got antibiotics of the Dr on Friday (which I haven't taken for about 10 years) so they seem to be kicking in. Fingers crossed, seeing nurse for check up tomorrow. Obviously this has pushed my plan of action back a wee bit. Was going to start doing some cardio tomorrow but am not doing any now til I'm aure all has healed. <<<<<<<Being very careful!!!!!! Just been looking online for gyms in Bremen, Germany as I will be over there for 10 days next month and will hopefully be full back on track by then!

The takey out stiches have been taken out, the ones in the lower incision are disolvable. And according to the nurse today disolvable stiches don't always disolve very well which is what could be the problem. My body is basically rejecting them as foreign bodies and kinda fighting them off. Great innit lmfao. Anti'bi's seem to be kicking in so am keeping my fingers crossed that it will do the job and I won't have to take stronger ones. I did 40 mins plodding today on the treadmill and may do a wee circuit tomorrow. Nothing hard.....just going through the motions & see what happens. I've got to spend 2 weeks with my mum in a couple of weeks so I'll have to expend some energy or it could get messy lol

Hi there I don't know you or the details of your op but can offer up the observation that I had some seepage from one of my many battle wounds that involved internal stitches a few years ago and was told to take baths in water saturated with salt. This was supposed to draw out the weeping fluid and dry up the wound. Not sure if this is practical for you but it did seem to work.

Cheers for that Jedi! I did ask about salt baths pre-leakage to help heal the wound but was not it wasn't necassary. The good news is I've had no leaks for the last 36hrs so I really am keeping my fingers crossed. i just want the bloody thing to heal then I can stop worrying about potential necrosis which isn't pretty. I'm really not a person to stay down for long but this on top of being so bloody inactive has got me a wee bit negged out!!! Ah well.....bouncy happy person is never too far away!
