Aye up Norven Munkey!

Just thought I'd pop in and see how you're doing. Well training and diet seem to be pretty good, small hiccups excepted . It can be a real bummer moving to a new place and having to get to know people all over again but stick at it I'm sure you will wear them down

On the creatine front have you thought of using a Kre-Alkalyn product? I use Kre-Evolution from Extreme Nutrition and personally think the stuff is the bllx. I don't know all the sciency stuff behind it but basically, as I understand it, it absorbs into your system easier/better and doesn't put the strain on that normal creatine does so you don't need shed loads of water...and it comes in capsules so no rank taste. I personally only take it on training days but you can take it every day. If you want to know more just bing me over and I'll send you the link (can't post it on here coz of house rules lol)

Anyway...chip up mukka!

Cheers Tan, I've cheered up a bit now I've got my Christmas tree and actually been out seeing real living people this weekend!

I'll stick with this creatine I've got for a bit longer and give it chance to do summat (since I've bought it I may as well have a bash rather than spending money on something else right away - I'm so tight sometimes!), but if it carries on having no real effect I'll give t'other stuff a try. Thanks for popping in anyway: sometimes I feel like I'm talking to myself in here, which is probably a good thing when I go off on one of my moaning sessions!

Cheers JP.

I'm not as stressed out now, I just needed a good old rant! All my Christmas shopping is done and wrapped and all my cards are posted, so I'm just going to relax and enjoy it all now. Plus I'm going home for the hols so I can catch up with all my girlies, woohoo!

Monday 10/12:

0715: 40g oats, 200ml semi-skimmed milk, 10g sunflower seeds, 2 egg whites.
1030: 1 scoop whey in water.
1300: tin of tuna, 100g spinach, 50g pasta, 15g pesto.
1700: 1 scoop whey in water and a banana.
Training: chest, shoulders and tris.
1900: 2 scoops whey in water.
2030: 200g chicken, 100g spinach.

Oly bar bench press 3 x 10, 40kg.
DB incline press 3 x 10, 12kg.
BB military press 3 x 10, 15kg.
DB lat raises 4 x 10, 6kg.
EZ bar skullcrushers 4 x 10, 10kg.
Dips 4 x 10.

Got the gym sorted for over the Christmas hols as well now. It's only a little gym that my mum goes to at home and the owner will be closing quite a bit over the festive period as it was so quiet last year and obviously because he wants to spend time with his family. However, me and mummykins are to be entrusted with the spare keys so we can train even if he's closed. Huzzah! I'll deffo be having Christmas Day and Boxing Day off (unless I manage to go in the morning on Boxing Day before football) but other than that I'll try and do summat every day. Plus training with mum means I can make her do what I do for a change: she's a bugger for finding a routine she likes then never changing it so she doesn't make any progress. I'll stop her doing those bicep spider sets if it kills me, bring it on!!!

I am bad.

I have just eaten an iced danish.

It's someone at work's birthday and he's brought a big pile of danishes and eclairs and stuff in, and I just couldn't resist. Twas scrummy but now I feel a bit sick.

Shows remarkable restraint in my opinion.
Good pressing workout posted above, especially impressed with the dips.

Cheers jedi, that's made my day.

I don't do weighted dips though: I can just about manage a few sets of chair dips with my own bodyweight, and by the 4th set yesterday I was really struggling. To be honest I fell off on the 9th rep but it was easier to write 4 x 10 than "3 x 10 then 1 x 8 and a half", heh heh!

Don't be worried about having the occasional treat It's when they happen daily you need to kick yourself.

Oh you make me feel so disorganised with all your shopping done etc. I've not got the tree up yet, still have some pressies to buy and all the rooms to get ready for guests

I am officially the most organised person in the world this year. Normally I'm still running round on Christmas Eve like a loon but I made a pact with myself to be better this year!

Actually it's probably because I've got sod all else to do more than anything. I had all my cards written and in their envelopes and stamped before it was even December, how sad is that?!

Tuesday 11/12/:

0715: 40g oats, 200ml semi-skimmed milk, 10g sunflower seeds, 2 egg whites.
1030: 1 scoop whey in water.
1300: tin of tuna, 100g spinach, 50g pasta, 15g pesto - and the naughty danish that slipped into my mouth before I had chance to stop it!
1700: 1 scoop whey in water and a banana.
Training: cardio and abs.
1900: 2 scoops whey in water.
2030: 200g chicken, 100g broccoli.

For my cardio I did 15 minutes on the stepper and 20 minutes on the treadmill. Wasn't really in the mood for some reason. Abs-wise I did 3 supersets of weighted crunches, Russian twists, toe-touches and plank; then did 3 sets on the new rope crunch machine thing they've got, which I rather liked.

I'm having to miss training tonight too as I've got a nail appointment, so I'll just miss my back off this week and do my biceps with my legs on Friday. I'd try and squeeze my back in tomorrow but I don't want to be deadlifting tomorrow and squatting on Friday. I might possibly fit it in on Sunday though, hmmmm.....

Santa Claus has elves about writing stuff like this down you know.
I'd make your next effort in the gym a good one or he might be putting a question mark next to your house re: present delivery.

Ahhh but I'm sure he appreciates the thought of me having a lovely tidy manicure for all my Christmas do's!

I solemnly promise to hammer Body Combat tomorrow and spend the weekend unable to walk with DOMS from doing my legs on Friday.

I know, it's ridiculous. I normally send about half a dozen to close mates and family, but this year I've even ended up doing more cards than usual in my new super-organised guise!

Wednesday 12/12:

0715: 40g oats, 200ml semi-skimmed milk, 10g sunflower seeds, 2 egg whites.
1030: 1 scoop whey in water.
1300: tin of tuna, 100g spinach, 50g pasta, 15g pesto.
1700: 1 scoop whey in water and a banana.
Training: an intensely gruelling manicure, eyebrow wax and gossip!
1900: 2 scoops whey in water.
2030: 200g chicken, 50g pasta, 30g olives, 15g pesto, 70g mushrooms.

Shouldn't have had the pasta last night but because I hadn't trained I was starving!! Does anyone else find that they aren't that hungry when they get home from the gym, but sitting around doing sod all makes you hungrier, or is it just me??!!

Yep sometimes I can't face food after I've trained for a while which is why I throw Exteme's Build and Recover down my neck when I finish training. Other times though I feel like I could eat a horse lol!

Yeah, I just about manage my whey, but the thought of real food knocks me a bit sick. Most of the time during the week my evening meal is purely for the sake of eating rather than enjoyment, which helps me keep it clean.
