Good luck mate, nice honest journal

You'll be surprised how quickly it all comes back to you, In just over 6 weeks I've went from pretty much forgetting how to do a single bodyweight dip to adding 10kg for reps today

Onwards and upwards mate, be good to see how this all goes for you

Best of luck

I had to miss training tonight due to spending the past 4 hours building a 10x8' shed in the garding, not too worried as my legs are still killing me. So it will be Back and Biceps tomorrow.

The Shed has enough space to let me do my Bench work / Squats and Deads ect

Yesterday I did -

Back & Biceps
Dumbell Rows - 20 20 28 28 28kg
Deadlifts - 60 60 80 80 90kg
Barbell Shrugs - 50 50 50 50 50kg
Barbell Curls - 27 27 27 27 27kg

I found this a lot easier than last week, but dont want to up the weight for another week yet. My aim at the moment is just to try and get used to the routine.

Last night was Chest & Triceps

My max lifts where the same as last week, although due to the lack of energy I ended up having to do drop sets for the last couple of sets.

Bench 60kg
Flys 14kg
Close grip bench 37kg
Skullz 27kg

At this rate, I cant see myself being able to up the weights, until Ive finnished shedding off the body fat.

Today was Back & Biceps

Dumbell rows 5x10 @ 27kg will start swapping this for pull ups once I have shed some more fat as I can hardly lift my own weight
Dead lifts 5x6 @ 100kg
Shrugs 5x10 @ 50kg
Curls 5x10 @ 27kg

Forgot to ask -

How much weight should I be aiming to loose each week?

I weighed myself this morning and weighed 172lbs, so that a total loss of 9lbs so far. (3lbs a week)

Should I be aiming to loose it a little faster or is this an ok rate?

Welcome to MT mate

Good journal ,routine looks good and its good to see the approach your taking to getting back into training

Your fat loss rate is excellent mate 3lbs a week thats more than enough to be honest I personally would'nt try increasing this just stick with what your doing its definately working

Good luck mate

Chest & Triceps today!

Results same as last week (still not upped the weight) although finding the routine easier and enjoying it much more.

Off work tomorrow as got myself booked in for an 8 hours session in an edinburgh tattoo studio, Not sure if it will effect my weight training for the next week, but if it does then I will just concentrate more on cardio and pick up from where I left off once its healed a bit.

The diet is getting easier, as the temptation for fast food has now gone. And to my surprise,, food that I would have normaly found bland and boring actualy tastes nice My taste buds seem to have changed a bit since I cut out the sugar and sweets.

I will put up new pics in a month or so.

Not been here for about 2 weeks, due to being on holiday. The holiay has ended but wont be home for another week as Im staying at my parents house, looking after the dogs.

Cant wait to get back to training.

The weight loss has slowed down quite a bit. The first 4 weeks I was loosing about 3lbs a week,,, The past 2 weeks I have only lost a couple of pounds. Im not sure where Ive went wrong the past couple of weeks as my diet has been quite strict. (mabey need to up the cardio a bit)

It has been 7 weeks since I started trying to drop my bodyfat%. The first few weeks went great with a constant drop in weight, but the past 3-4 weeks have went very slow.

I have been using Grenade every morning for the past week and have upped the cardio a bit in the hope of getting things moving again.

My body weight is now down to 162lbs from 181lbs (so thats 19lbs in the past 7 weeks)

So far I am very happy with the drop in weigh, but wish I had just reached my goal so that I can start builking up and hammering the weights in the hope to add some muscle.

For now my energy levels are NIL and I feel very small.
