Thank you for popping in son. University gym normally. I think I have added a little more muscle from the last bulk and stayed reasonably lean which is making the cardio less of a task. Not sure whether to turn to the darkside, but am toying with the idea of something over the summer.

I never find low carb days too much of a problem though I only do them on the weekend- spending today writing an essay and preparing for a company presentation.

sounds exiting... you could use something like hyperdrol or some of the "nha's" instead of joining darth vader and his troops straightaway... i go exeter every so often to see my mate usually train in the fit first there and end up in rocokos at the end of the night lol

Racoccos; blazes you want to stay away from that vermin infested squalid pit hole. Pop along to some of the student clubs, many a treat to be had in there.

Have a nice batch of chocolate flapjacks cooking away now. Always find it difficult to stop eating the lot when they come out of the oven though. Need to keep everything 100 per cent until Saturday when I will be having a team meal and a fair few drinks.

This is the level I aspire to. These really were the golden days of bodybuilding in my opinion. Who in their right mind would want a physique like Cutler these days. It is hideous and offensive to the majority of the population. I think a new direction needs to be found if the sport is to grow at any rate. Celebrate the asthetic ideal and the beauty of the human form. Thoughts?

Well back day was good, have done chest since then. Finding the weights are dropping on the cut but making pleasing progress so can't complain. Legs shortly and have had more carbs than normal, around 120g will see how this affects the intensity.

Nearly two years now, those pictures were from August though.
Regarding the weights I don't see the point in posting them. I don't follow the principle of adding a bit of poundage each week and sticking to the same stuff. I always try to change it. One back session may involve lower reps with longer rests, the next week I will go much lighter. For me the weight isn't important and people get too fixated on working towards a 100kg bench or adding a pound to their squat each week. As long as I feel the muscle working and take it to failure with good form I am happy.

Had a good leg session.

Squats:

warmup x 12
x12
x12
x10
x10
x8 x4, halfed weight x 6

Leg press- worked through stack and then back down
x12
x12
x12
x8
then some drop sets

Leg curls with a peak contraction
x10
x8 x5 x2

Crawled out of the gym.

Hamstrings weren't done as sore from football.

Diet has been clean and consistent throughout the week.
