Better living through chemistry (Phoenix sex pic page 16) - 14 August 2007 15:17
Yet another start to my journal. I am going to use this one to record my progress as I bulk to Christmas before taking a long slow cut from January till August.

Aims

I have always aimed to keep my training second to my rugby, however I have now reached a point where my focus on training has overtaken rugby, so I am now willing to accept a drop in athletisism to focus more on my training.
I will still continue to play when asked, however I will not attend training sessions, choosing am cardio as my form of fitness, leaving the evenings open to weights.

My training regime will be as follows

Monday - Arms

Dips 3x12
French Press 3x8
Tricep Push Downs 3x8
Forearm Curls 3x8
Bicep Curls 3x8

Tuesday - Legs

Squat 3x8
SLDL 3x8
Leg Ext 3x8
Ham Curl 3x8

Wednesday - Chest/Shoulders

Bench Press 3x8
Incline Press 3x8
OHP 3x8
side lat raises 3x8

Thursday - Back

Deads 3x3
Rows 3x8
lat Pull downs 3x8
G/M's 3x8

I will also be attempting my first cycle over the next 10 weeks which will be test e 250mg x2 per week and deca 200mg x2 per week

Training, due to return from holidays, my session is about by a day this week.

Arms.

Dips
3x12@b/w

French Press
3x8@42.5kg

Tricep Push Downs
3x8@30

Forearm Curls
3x8@32.5kg

Bicep Curls
3x8@40kg

Training was ok, wasn't 100% due to the 3 week break but as long as I stay on schedule with training and diet, I am not too worried about everything falling into place.

First injection was carried out tonight by my wife.
1ml of Test E @250mg/ml
2ml of Deca @100mg/ml

prepared everything myself and then passed over to my missus to jab me.
Delt shot went fine, no pain pre/during/post shot no bleeding.

See how it is tomorrow

Why did you go for the delts? It will probably hurt today mate, the glutes are far better. I was wrongly advised to take the first one on the delt, someone later told me 3ml as a first timer should always go in the glutes. They were right ime.

Not sure why I went for delt, guess I could sit down and watch TV while my missus stuck it in, also I considered that as I sit all day at work, it would be safer to have sore arms than a sore ass, also if I developed a limp at work I would be getting questioned.

3ml in the delt seems fine Today, when did you start to get delt pain?

I am opting for all my shots to be delt and triceps.

It was a little sore the morning after but after a day in work using my arms etc it was quite painful when i got home. My mate knocked me in the arm that night (not knowing my situation) and it hurt like hell.
The week after i took it in the delt (meant to say glute...) and it was fine, after 1 shot in each its virtually unoticable the day after. Up to you mate but id consider it.

Nice to see you back again with a different focus...

Have you used the stuff before that you're cycling? Any previous reactions or things you've noticed?

No, this is my first ever cycle, and we will se how it goes, I feel very focused on my weights now as oppose to rugby, and I really want to build my strength and size up, then in another years time I plan on switching training and attempting strong man comps

Good luck on your cycle mate.

You look like a pretty big guy so maybe 3mls not so much in your delts but for me 1ml max in delts.

During my only cycle to date i just stuck to 2ml in glutes all but once when i put 1ml in each delt, very painful but i think it was due to opening up a new site.

for me 3 mls in the delt would be too much, i save amounts like that for quads/glutes however each to his own.

if it went as comfortably and as easy as you say then carry on mate, if it aint broke dont fix it!

24hrs after 3ml delt shot, a very, very mild stiffness, however no pain as such, I will have a better picture tomorrow am I guess. If it has been ok I will go for 2ml in tricep next shot. Supposed to be very painful and have been warned, however as being brick minded, I want to see for myself after the delt appears fine

Legs

A light session again due to first session in 3 weeks.

Squats
3x8@130kg

Leg ext
3x8@35 on each leg

Ham Curls
3x8@95kg

Legs felt strong and I will push back up to 140kg for 3x8 next week, and hoping if all goes well I can add 5kg a week over the next 10 weeks which would in theory give me a rep scheme of 3x8@185kg (not going to happen, but if I push for it I might hit 165kg then after pct I might be able to stay up around 3x8@155kg
