mick, just for the next time you read this, not sure if you are anywhere near Newcastle, but heading down there the first Saturday of November with the missus and another mate who is into training, didn't know if you fancied meeting for a diet coke

Missed back session this week due to arriving back from holiday mucking up session, so next week I will be back into the swing of 4 nights training per week, and hoping to squeeze a little extra in on a sat morning before the rugby pics up to much.

I weighed myself this morning and it would appear I have gained around 1kg this week, I am hoping that this means the cycle has not kicked in yet, or else I am really going to have to force more calories in.

Kendod, prob didn't explain it right, doc reckons it was infection caused due to irritation by the oil. It was pharma grade. and also caused by the intravascular bleed out.

Any way, my inj protocol is as follows

wash hands with anti bacterial soap (missus does the same)

remove gear from hot water
open syringe pack and wipe top with alcoholic wipe
wipe gear vials with alcoholic wipe
remove green needle from pack and attach
take off cover and wipe with alcoholic swab
remove gear from vials
remove green needle
open blue, fit it, remove cap and wipe with swab
remove all bubbles, let some oil drip down syringe
wipe injection site with swab
inject cover with swab
plaster

Whats with all the swab wiping?
My local needle exchange doesnt even supply alcohol swabs anymore as they reckon they are sometimes the cause of infections as supposedly you just to let the alcohol evaporate a little before injecting, some people havent been doing this.
Surely if some thing is in a sealed pack (barrel and pin) they dont need wiping down.
Just imo...

They have not been good diet days, I have upped the amount of food now, increasing solid protein by a further 50-80g and also increasing carbs by around a further 50g

Got a bbq, party, night out this saturday as a mate, who has been staying in Tailand, is coming back for a few days before his permanent move there, (he will be managing the part of the business over there, building of relaxation eggs)
So I will be designated driver where ever we end up, should be a fun night though, I am dreaming of the food on the BBQ as we speak

welcome back (again ) jj,

how's tricks? Looks like you have got things all sorted for a good run on the dark side. i think you are right to prioritse one thin (the weights/physique side) rather than trying to do weights/rugby/rowing and get it all right.

Are you going to put a diary on sugden as well?
