hope i got the right idea here.

i accquired some liquid chalk and some ski tubes because deadlifts were getting hard to grip, and my shins were gushing blood everywhere.

i went in there and did my 4x6 and managed to pyrmid upto 135kg, last week i couldnt even do 1x132.5 .
next week im taking a break so i decided to really go hardcore.
i did 1 rep of 140
then pulled of 1 rep of 150.

was a great buzz. i did an andy bolton at the bar. ran half way across the gym at it, took a deep breath and just lifted it. nearly passed out but the all over body sensation was great.
ive done this in only 19 weeks training too, from zero deadlift to that.
im quite proud of my self so i just wanted to share it

I'd be interested to hear some updates on your progress as well. I am going to be adding some similar training, skill work and gpp, into my routine after I heal from my surgery. I remember doing crossfit and it seemed like the fat just melted off of me.

Just easing back into training after my recent spate of injuries / illness

Once I have finalised my goals and thus training plan for the next couple of months I will resume regular updates..

I took my log over to rosstraining as I was mainly keeping track of run times and doing a few burpee pyramids here and there which doesn't make for exciting reading!
