Alright fella thought I'd pop in I've just switched to closegrip benchpress for my second tri exercise, really enjoying it! http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/Triceps/BBCloseGripBenchPress.html I use Smiths machine though, not really strong enough for a free bar yet lol. Anyway, it's worth a look All the best mate

legs done. all weights in kg Squats 8 x 60 8x 80 8x 85 8 x 85 Stiff-legged dl 8 x 60 8 x 100 8 x 100 8 x 95 Calf raises 15 x 106 15 x 106 15 x 106 Leg extensions 8 x 98 8 x 98 8 x 98 Most pleased with squats. i normally only add 5kg a week but this time managed another 10kg over last week, ass to the grass as usual. sldl not so happy with. for some reason my back was giving in again (though last week at 97.5kg i never felt a thing) so i had to drop it down to 95 to get a decent set done. my grip has improved now and didnt give up once on the dl. next week im adding hamstring curls as with sldl i dont feel a thing. this is how i do them btw legs just under shoulder width apart, bent slightly at knees, grip close to legs, hips move forward, knees stay bent, lower bar with knees still bent. i dont mean major bent, just enough so there isnt tension into the lower back. today i wore my new "shutup and squat" t shirt too

flat barbell bench 8x20 8x40 8x45 7x47.5 incline dumbell bench 4x20 8x17.5 6x20 seated military barbell shoulder press 8x30 8x30 8x30 close grip assisted dips 6x20 8x20 8x20 skull crushers 8x12.5 6x15 7x12.5 followed by 10g glutamine, 20mins HIIT, 20mins steady state cardio then 50g whey. my gains are really dropping now, with some things reverting back to how i was when i started, and others not even progressing. im gonna stay on my 'cut' for another 3 weeks, then start to bulk.

made a few little adjustments to my dl this week, so lets get on with the show! deadlift 8x60 8x107 8x110 6x112.5 assisted chins 8x25 8x25 8x25 db row 8x25 8x25 8x25 lat pull down, wide grip 8x56 8x56 8x56 shrugs, weight is of the plates. dont know what trap bar weighs 8x45 8x45 8x44 8x27.5 bb curls 6x12.5 conc curls 6x27.5 bb curls very happy with dl this week. i adjusted my starting position slightly and brought my arms further in. i knew from the first lift id hit the jackpot, it felt so solid. grip was rock hard all the way through, except the last couple reps, 7.5kg increase! though it has taken 2 weeks to up 12.5kg, not sure what to make of that. grip failed a bit on the shrugs, but by that time i was burned out!

push day, total crap as usual! flat bb bench press 8 x 20kg 8 x 45kg 7 x 47.5kg 8x47.5 incline db bench press 8 x 20kg 7 x 20kg 7 x 20kg standing military press with 7ft bar 8 x bar 7 x 25kg 6 x 25kg close grip assisted dips 8 x 20kg 8 x 20kg 7x 15kg skull crushers 8x12.5 7x12.5 8x12.5 i dont know why my push muscles are so feeble. the only ideas ive had to improve it is start from scratch (which loses me 2.5 months work) or change the routine and shock the system. also on my bb bench, the bar kept hitting the hooks, cant work out why :/

week 12, shoulders/tri very good session today seated db shoulder press 8x14k 8x16k 7x18k super setted with lateral raise 10x7k 10x7k 10x7k was exhausted after that! close grip bench 8x20k 8x35k 8x40k 8x45k close grip dips (assisted) 8x15k 8x10k 8x5k face pulls 10x35k 10x40k 10x40k triceps didnt feel worked so i tryed another exercise ive seen going on in the gym. using the rope and a cable machine, i held elbows in and straightend the arms in a downward motion. whats this called? 10x40k 10x40k i didnt know for sure if it was doing my triceps at all so i stopped there, to return next week after further investigation. my weight is now at a stable 12.5st with a waist measurement of 30.5" ! Les feels anymore focus on fatloss is counter productive so my diet is being modified to start cleanly bulking up. This week i also acquired my first injury, a lower back pain which im going to try get to the doctors about tomorrow. Pics below are basically now for the end of 12 weeks. Bearing in mind i started at absolutley zilch training, bar spinning classes 3 times a week.

went to docs today regarding my back. after making me do a few crazy moves, she decided ive simply sprained the muscle and the pain should go after a month. i was advised to not lift anything heavy which involves the lower back untill the pain is gone. that means heavy squats and heavy dls are out the window for the time being :(
