week 24!!! finally im at 6 months training. i think ive done 'ok' as far as strength goes but physique wise im not sure i look a whole lot different. im sure the composition is different, it must be! but im definatley healthier and loving the whole life style. i started with a weight loss plan created by big les him self, and lost over a stone of fat and no doubt added some muscle as noobie gains. that took me around 3 months and then i went onto a bulk which im gonna do till after the end of the easter holidays. then im cutting back to see what weve got to show. i started the whole iron game just to lose a bit of weight and tone up for freshers week but i couldnt imagine not doing it now. anyway, todays results! deadlifts 6x145 6x147.5 6x150 2x155 by the last set i was shaking and on the verge of feeling sick, but i'll get 6x155 next week! db rows 8x32 8x36 8x36 5x36 neg rep chins - 3 seconds 6 6 6 cable rows 8x95 9x100 9x105 9x105 wide grip pull downs 8x56 7x56 7x63 actually **** it, strength wise i think ive done fantastic to be deadlifting that weight already

leg notes for next week back squat 5 x 5 ( tempo 3/0/X) (heavy as you can, shoulder width stance) hack squat 2 x 15 (2/0/2) extensions 2 x 2 mintute sets slow tempo o back squat 3/0/X controlled lowering ~ 3 seconds/ no pause at the bottom/ exploding out of the movement hack 2/0/2 controlled movement, 2 seconds down/ 2 up make sure the weight is not too heavy/too light extensions keep a constant tempo, keeping legs moving at all times for 2 minutes

thanks apollo. i think deadlifting and squatting are my strong points, as they are shooting up and i feel pretty well for 6 months training. my chest is crap though, i reckon if i push it i can scrape the 30kg dbs this week.

My chest is also a weak spot so need to work alot there. My arms are coming on nicely though. Yeah your squatting is exellent aswell as your deading.

cheers raj. week 26 delt/tri seated db press/lat raises 8x18/9x10 8x20/8x10 7x22/8x10 standing behind the neck press 8x25 8x25 8x30 cgbp 8x50 8x50 8x50 dips 7 6 6 push downs 8x60 8x60 7x60 bar face pulls 8x50 8x55 8x60 not a good day for triceps today. cgbp was bloody solid! but i will be keeping behind the neck press, that felt good and was good fun. probablly gonna stick with the db presses for a few weeks too for a change from bb press. got a good stretch and could do really low at the bottom. superset db raises with behind the neck
