Has anyone ordered from a site that sells beef jerky at a good price? I've seen quite a few sites about but can't bring myself to buy in bulk from any of them without anyone's feedback on service and quality of product.

You could try emailing a few asking for a free sample or two? Send them a link to this thread and say that if the product is good they'll get a nice bit of free advertising? Can't see many businesses turning down an opportunity like that for the cost of a pack or three of beef jerky?

Are the egg whites shipped in refrigerated containers? The quotes im getting seem to make this a far less attractive option - I'm only in Swindon as well (about 80 miles from allan reeder)... Cheers

I dont use a courier mate, i go up to london once every 4-5 months and buy around 20 cartons and lug them back with me in 2 checked bags Ive looked at the home delivery network, Amtrak and a few others. Parcelforce are ok, theyre not refrigerated though so make it overnight. Theyre in tetra paks so i dont htink temp diff for a day is going to make a big difference as theyre sealed anyway

Just make sure to freeze what you dont use and let them defrost naturally I stand the carton in a bowl as the condensation pools into the bowl rather than on my worktop Just got a quote for the fresh liquid whole egg in a 10 kilo bucket is £1.50 per kilo
