Poor quality whey? - 29 August 2007 18:51
I posted a thread on another forum (uk-muscle) to get a few more opinions on nutrisport 90+, some of the responses where shocking. Suggesting it is an appauling whey of very bad quality.

I do not see how a whey can be classified as such low quality, after all.. most like for like whey's have roughly the same amino profile and tiny differences in fat and carbs... so why pay 300% extra?

Got me thinking anyway, here is the thread- would be interested to hear what people think about this subject and nutrisport 90+;

Cheers mate.. I questionned some of what they said in the thread and pointed out i don't care about flavour, but then things started getting a little out of my depth in terms of knowledge tbh so i'm a bit confused.

Do you actually think the quality of whey varies so widely? I didn't think it did, anyway i'm not bothered by taste and if this is going to give my bodywhat it needs then i'm buying it anyway. Who cares about texture and taste.. theyre a big bunch of girls not bodybuilders if thats all their argument holds As someones sig says on here ''food for function not for taste''

that thread was quite frustrating!

they seemed so sure in their opinions that they had reason to believe nutrisport wasnt quality stuff but wouldnt answer the simple question of WHY it was a poor quality protein....odd

I've been using Nutrisport's 90+ for the last year maybe with no problems at all. It tastes great to me, especially compared to some of the other brands flavourings. Its not amazing but you wont hate it.
As far as Im concerned its a quality product, my only question has always been about it that how can so much of a potentially good blend and well put together protein be so cheap because as you say can pick up a £31 bargain and never paid more than £45 for it..
