I wouldn't want to go for a night out in Northampton, been there about ten times and been in trouble every time.

It's the only place i've seen a doorman have a pit bull on the door with him.. nice place.

Other than that, I love it though, great women and some good gyms. Also that motorway is great for speeding.

My mind was etched with some christian slogans written all over a bridge on the (m1) I think... Oddly fascinating.

To be honest i've been there quite a few times and never really seen much in the way of trouble, felt a decent enough atmosphere there to be honest.

In my opinion P'boro is a fair bit worse. Just my own view though.

Maybe Cambridge is a better choice??

Yes but I am aggressive when drunk anyway, and my mates are nutters. However, I found it much worse than Manc when i've acted similarly.

... Stopping drinking now anyway

Cambridge would be great, not midlands though is it really, good 1.5 hour drive from me and I'm pretty slap-bang in the centre of the midlands.

ps. Would it be frowned on if we tried to chat up some posh Cambridge Uni girls?
