Have you used flavoured whey at all, or do you only use unflavoured?

I normally eat bars if Im out for long periods so I dont go without protein for too long. I've already got mine wrapped up individually in the fridge, so that's not an issue. They'll be fine all day long in your pocket. I've got mine ready so if I get called to go out I can just grab a bar and leave the house without fear of missing a meal. I have a massive appetite, but the bars are quite substantial and sort you out for a good couple of hours

However, I do have cocoa powder and sweetener and also some BSL chocolate flavouring, so I was considering making some chocolate ones. Chocolate and peanut butter go really well together I think. Flavoured whey tends to be a bit more expensive though, and these bars are all about economy baby!!! Plus they be delish as they are

That's only because of the size of the picture and the fact I took the flash off the camera. If you look at some of the earlier links you can see larger pics with better lighting; they look a bit better in those. Also, in the flesh they look nothing like conjealed sick. If you wanted to use chocolate whey imagine what they'd end up looking like a bar of... P.S. if anyone can tell me how to reduce the file size of the images so I can upload them I'd be really grateful

Have you tried using reduced fat peanut butter, or would that be defeating the purpose?

yes i have as it goes mate, very impressed with the shots Also if you fancy a flavour of chocolate i would just use some unsweetened cocoa powder as this is the same stuff they use in chocolate whey The honey will sweeten it nicely as well so no need for additional sweetener IMO They look quite solid as well, i may give these a try if im feeling brave enough

I only use unflavoured whey, so was planning on using cocoa powder to make a chocolate variance of this recipe. Will be making another batch 2moro, and will be doing them for 15 minutes this time to see if I can get the consistency just right. May give chocolate ones a go then. Will let you know how it goes and post up the pictures

P.S. Could you tell me how to upload pictures please TIO? I've noticed you are able to, yet when I try it says the file size is too large. How do you resize them?

ok use things like photobucket get the link from photobucket paste it into the text box and highlight it and click on the "image" button. This will place special placeholders that will load up the image that hosted elsewhere and bypasses the size limitations Be aware though dont post huuuuuuge files as they may not show on everyones screen P.s. about the chocolate ones, i wouldnt use that much cocoa powder as its quite powerful stuff. Try out 25-30g max for the recipe as the ingredients arent much volume wise

I also have quark with splenda and cocoa powder every night, so have come a bit of an expert on the stuff . Cheers for the advice
