Right.
About time i actually got myself motivated and stayed that way so im going to make a journal.
Had a helpful nudge from theiopener as hes promised to post up some tasty food recipes ;)

Been vaguley training for a few months and only started pushing things recently.
Been sorting my diet out as well but probably needs sporting a bit more.
im just eating as much as i can.

Scales say i weight about 10.5st

I can feel a difference in my weight, first pic was taken in july when i could clearly see my ribs etc. family all said i looked like i was from a pow camp etc but apparently ive put on weight now so i must be doing something right lol

current stats
right arm upper 11, flexed 12
left arm upper 10.5, flexed 11
right forearm 11
left forearm 10.75
chest 36
neck 15.5
waist navel 32
waist belt 32.5
thigh right 19
thigh left 18.5
left calf 13.5
right calf 13.5

not sure if i measured right but as long as i measure in the smae place each time ill be able to see where im gaining etc.
out of the group i hang about with im about half the size of everyone else haha
all fun though, should be good to see some decent gains :)

im off now, gonna go blow some fireworks up but ill add to this later.

cant even remember whos letterbox it was but its caused a lot of people to talk about it... i reckon its the most talked about letterbox in the uk at the moment! lol

day one.
woke up late for work, had to shoot out the door with just a bannana, o top it off i could only stop for one break as i has to finish a whole load of block work and render the side of the house!
had a massive lunch though with beans on toast, couple of bannanas, a yoghurt, and then had a bowl of shreddies... quite handy working on your parents house!
couldnt stop again though tunil i got home so ive had a poor diet today, had a quick sandwich when i got in and hit theb training just now, needed more hours in the day today but nevermind!

just finished deads... my back and legs are killing me! i upped the weight from 50kg to 75kg.. massive increase for me but i felt i could go to 80kg.
calf raises have been the same, 75kg but i feel i could lift a lot more with my legs, my biggest problem is my arms and grip... holding onto that much weight on my skinny little arms is bloody hard! lol
feels like my back is going to explode as well... can really feel the muscles in the back pump up during the deads and just lifting the weight up to do the Cr's whoop whoop.

jeez that one killed me, SLDL's with dumbells, my grip is really showing up here, felt like i was going to drop the dumbells on my feet!
i think im going to use barbell next time with an alternate grip!!
SLDL's were 35g on each dumbell so 70kg total, doubt i could do anymorw without dropping them, just got to 8, felt like i could add a couple more kg's but cant risk dropping them!
got to 2nd set, cant grip and i think im getting poor form, going to stick the wights on the barbell instead.
3rd set, stuck the weight on the ezbar, was so much easier to grip it where it curves! 70kg on the ez, whicvh does weight much compared to the barbell.
felt so much better though and feel like im going to pass out i keep going dizzy, wicked! :D

tried doing lunges at 40kg, 20 on each dumbell, couldnt balance properly and keep stubbling, i think im trying too much weight so next time i will reduce right down and concentrate on form before upping it... my legs could cope with the weight but i couldnt balance at all... i take it this is due to the smaller muscles that control my legs??

moved onto front squats but my arms are dead, finding it hard to get 40kg up onto my chest, partly because of work today and also in part to my arms being weak.
finding balance a problem again. either way, onwards and upwards, going to lower he fronts to 30kg.
ok just done 30kg front squats 8 reps and my legs are shaking, doesnt feel like a lot of weight when i get it on my chest but after 8 squats im shaking... feels a bit crappy to be doing such a low weight but hey ho... :D

right, legs all done. IM BLODDY SHATTERED! WOOHOO!
not the best i know but im happy.

so.
Deadlifts 3/8 60kg, 70kg, 75kg
Calf raises 3/10 75kg
SLDL DB 70kg, DB 70kg EZbar 70kg
Lunges 1 x 40kg (bad balance)
Front Squats 40kg, 30kg, 30kg

abs now.
crunches 3/15 guts hurting now!!!!
sidebends 3/8 20kg, 25kg and 25kg
leg raises 3/15

just had my pwo, 3 scoops of whey with full milk, and just wanna say im bloody knackered lol.

get some wide grip pullups in your back day mate, do you not deadlift as well?

Starting pics are a good base for some mass my friend, glad you started a journal too, i can keep an eye on ya now

yeah did deadlifts yesterday mate, they are the first and main thing i hit on a monday.
got no where to do the widegrip pullups mate, my training area consists of a foldup bench, a stack of weights, 1x barbell, 1x ez bar, 2 x dumbells and a rollup excerside matt to reduce the noise.
i live out of a double bedroom above a family so i dont want to start adding crazy weights and dropping them or making loads of noise as its wooden flooring everywhere.
plus i have about 5ft square t train in lol... im going to see if i can rig sokmething up to bolt to the wall though... or see if i can buy something.

its a bit of a pain in the arse but its home for now and i daresay by next year i will have my own place again so i can build a gym.

as for food... hmmmm, well i love chicken, which is a good thing i guess! i never have much time to cook so i normally put the rice on the hob, chicken in the foreman then add stuff to it....
i normally use uncle bens sweet and sour sauce simply because i like the flavour, then i add extra pineapple and peppers to it... ive made my own sweet n sour a few times but it never tastes as nice.
i like loads of different food to be honest as long as its not hot and not too spicy, hot food dowsnt do it for me and spicy doesnt agree with me ;) lol

food wise today hasnt been the best diet but i ate what i could.

weetabix, bannana, milk for breakfast

mid morning corn beef roll

lunch cheese ham salad in a sandwich on wholegrain bread.

mid afternoon tin of sardines in tomato sauce

dinner noodles with chicken and sweet n sour sauce.

late dinner (after megazone) mc donalds... yeah i know... was the only food available other than chocolate and i was starving.
i dont actually like macdonalds as it tastes like crap but meh, i was hungry so its better than nothing.

just drank a pint of milk and off to bed soon.

early day from work which is a result.

breakfast, chocy croisant, bannana, milkshake.
mid morning, peanut butter sandwich bag of kp dry roasted nuts.
got 2 ham sandwiches for lunch and a bannana.
mid afternoon will be peanut butter and dinner not sure yet.

i work out at home for a few reasons...
im a skinny runt so i wouldnt feel at ease in thier to start with i dont think.
i have a bench etc here and enough weights.
and my working hours are all over the place so its good to be able to get in from work, train, eat, then relax infront of the tv or whatever without having to travel... yeah lazy i know lol.

i do plan on joining a gym but once ive got my form better, and once i can bench and lift the weights i have at home here.
ive got about 85kg in plates and i cant bench anywhere near that so i might as well continue to use my home gear until ive got into it all a bit more.

Inline dumbell fly 8 x 10, 8x 15 (up 5kg from last week! :D ), 8 x 15kg (knackered now!) 7 x 15kg couldnt get to 8

Pushups 1 x 15, 1 x 15, 1 x 15
jesus im feeling it now! lol im so out of shape!

Tricep kickback 8 x 10kg, 8 x 15kg, 8x 15kg

seated ez extension 1 x 10kg *arm went dead, no energy, lowered weight. 8 x 7.5kg, 8 x 7.5kg and my body is failing lol


time for food!!!!

right, last night my workout went to ****.

did bicep curls 8x20kg 8 x 25kg 8x25kg 8x25kg
arms gave up on me and my back was killing me from work so i didnt go any further... its still aching so i guess doing all that sheet metal work gave me enough of a workout during the day! :D

food wise was good.
weetabix bannana + milkshake
mid morning ham roll
lunchtime 2 ham rolls, bannana, peanuts
mid afternoon cant remember.
dinner, sweet n sour chicken with noodles.
midnight after going on the piss was a large kebab with loads of salad... yeah i know, crap food but i was drunk and kebabs are my weakness :P
