Some way yet mate.
I have some very stubborn fat on my chest, abs and hips that will be a bastard to shift.
Still, it took many years of hard drinking and crap diet to put it there, it won't go overnight.

Tonights workout

Push

Flat BBBP bar only 1 x 10 bar only, 1 x 5 60 kg, 1 x 5 100 kg, 5 x 5 110 kg
Seated OH Press 1 x 5 40 kg, 70 kg 5, 5, 4, 3, 3
Tricep Dips 5 x 5 BW (95.1 kg) + 28 kg

Couldn't get on the Incline BP so did flat, pretty good, might even have got 112.5 or 115
OH presses were good but hard, delts were very pumped after, close to 5 on the 3rd set and 4 on the 4th
Happy with the dips as BW is up slightly and still managed to get 5 x 5 with a heavier dumbell than last week, though only just.

I'll have both!

Food, I want food! Why is it that as soon as I say to myself, 'right, thats it, I'm going to lose weight', I feel hungry?

Trust me mate, since finishing the shape up I'm finding it very hard.
I think it's my all or nothing nature which is why I had the beer problem.
I was never really one for sweet things before when I was on the beer but I am now.

Tonights workout

Pull

WG Pull Downs 1 x 5 50 kg, 1 x 5 70 kg, 1 x 5 75 kg (all unsupported) 1 x 5 90 kg, 5 x 5 100 kg (stack) (supported)
Bent Over DB Rows 1 x 5 20 kg, 1 x 5 40 kg, 5 x 5 60 kg
Deads 1 x 5 60 kg, 1 x 5 100 kg, 140 kg 5, 5, 5, 5, 3
EZ Bar Curls 1 x 5 30 kg, 1 x 5 40 kg, 5 x 5 52.5 kg

I had to change things around tonight because of availability of weights
Pull downs instead of chins, DB Rows instead of BB Rows, deads done 3rd instead of first
All things considered it was a good session and I surprised myself with how long my grip lasted on deads
Cheated on last rep of last set of curls
Hopefully I can revert back to my normal routine next week

I'm not normally fussed about measurements but the wife took a few last night for a laugh and found my arms were 17" surprised me anyway.

It was a good workout mate, very good doms all over my back and in my biceps this morning.
I need to slow down the deads though, I'm rushing them to get the reps in before my grip gives up.

Tonights workout

Legs

Squats (Smith Machine) 1 x 10 bar only, 1 x 5 40 kg, 1 x 5 60 kg, 10 x 5 70 kg
Leg press 1 x 5 150 kg, 1 x 5 160 kg, 1 x 5 170 kg, 1 x 5 180 kg, 1 x 5 190 kg
SLDL 1 x 10 bar only, 1 x 5 60 kg, 1 x 5 100 kg, 5 x 5 110 kg
Rope Crunches 5 x 12 42.5 kg

10 mins rowing
10 mins incline walking

Availability of weights an issue again (happening a little too often lately and my membership is up for renewal)
Ended up doing 10 sets of squats at 70 kg, couldn't get any more weight so did some leg presses as well

40p,

Looks like the 5 x 5 is really 'doing the business' for you

Some really good weights you're shifting considering your bodyweight.

17" arms? - now I know why I can only curl about 2/3rds of what you do - 'cos my arms are 2/3rds the size

Keep it going

Sam

Hi mate. I planned a cardio session for last night but one of the dogs was ill so had to cancel that and go to the vets.
I did some cardio this morning but very light as my quads are still very painful from Friday, it was either the 10 sets of squats or the squats and leg press in the same session that did it.
Just resting for the remainder of today and eating whatever I feel like (cheat day).
