Just 30 minutes swimming today.

No more gym until New Year now.
Lots of food and drink will be consumed over the next week or so.
If you're reading this have a good time and see you in the New Year

Thanks very much.
If I'm honest this journal is primarily for me to look back on and chart my progress (or lack of) and possibly log any thoughts/feelings at the time.
Recently I find myslf more in the Progress Journals than any other part of the forum.

Just 30 minutes swimming today.
Itching to get back into the gym but at the same time enjoying the rest.
Weight has gone up to 96 kg but to be expected given current diet and training regime.
Looking forward to new year.

Cheers mate. We can help each other .
I'm feeling positive at the moment but it's always easy to be positive when you've had a beer .
Ask me again on January 2nd when hopefully I'll be 1 day without alcohol.

Hi 40P,

Just thought I'd pop in and say 'how be'?

Sounds like you're having a well deserved rest - the swimming sounds good - just right to ease off some aches and pains and the the body a good release from all the iron pumping.

I'll be a regular visitor in 2008 - us oldies have got to stick together

Sam

Cheers Sam

I'm not much of a swimmer and don't use it for fitness or calorie burning as such, it's more of a family thing.
Feel free to drop in any time mate.

Cheers mate.
2 days to go to a fresh start.
New diet and new routine start on Tuesday, not sure if the gym is open but if it is I'll probably start with a cardio session.
Not 100% sure on routine yet but looking at push/pull/legs possibly.

I'll post in here before doing the MT Shape Up thread, it's getting confusing.

The plan is to cut as much as possible until April and possibly beyond hopefully losing as much fat and retaining as much muscle as possible.
Supplementation to be used will be whey, multi-vits, cod liver oil, EPA fish oil concentrate and glucosamine sulphate.
Weighed in this morning at 100.8 kg (about 15 st 11 lb) at 5 ' 7" on the home digital scales.
