Hello mate

Saw your post in general about journal pic's

I feel your pain, having just got to grips with it myself

To get my pic's up without the numbers on the bottom I do the following...

In imageshack, after you have clicked on the round 'i' button next to the photo you want to upload and the pop-up window has appeared un-check the 'full size - include details' button, then copy the 'Forums' filepath...

Paste the copied filepath into your new MT post

Check the 'Embed picture in post' button on your post, then post and it should work properly (or atleast it has done for me)

Good luck with the journal btw

MONDAY 10th DECEMBER 2007
legs/abs

warm up, leg press - 40kg x 10, 60kg x 6, 80kg x 4, 100kg x 3, 120kg x 1

leg press - 125kg x 7, 125kg x 7

smith squat - 45kg x 7, 45kg x 7

SLDL - 50kg x 7, 50kg x7

ham curl - 65kg x 7

calf press - this was a wierd one, i put the weight to 110kg but when i pushed it felt like my calfs were swelling up and were set to burst! so i lowered it to 100kg which i had done the previous week with no trouble but felt the same pain. so i basically dropped the weight right down to 20kg and just did loads of reps increasing the weight every 10 reps or so until i did a couple of reps of 100kg. the muscle was pretty knackered after at least so ill just try 100kg again next week and see how that goes.

weighted swiss ball crunch - 18kg x 12, 18kg x 12

hanging leg raises - 9

TUESDAY 11th DECEMBER 2007
chest/shoulders/tris

hmph well this workout wasnt great today. i went with my mates to day and wasnt really as focused/did my exact routine today. i still took everything to faliure and pushed hard but oh well i just didnt feel i had done as well as i could have done by myself/with my usual training partner and ive gone today instead of tomorrow as i usually do.

warm up, flat bench - 10kg x 10, 15kg x 6 20kg x 4, 22.5 kg x 3, 25 kg x 1

flat bench - 25kg x 7, 27.5 kg x 4, 30kg x 2

incline db press - 16kg x 7, 18kg x 6

NO WG DIPS

lat raise - 8kg x 7, 6kg x 6 (drop set)

dips x 7

i'll be sure to get back on track next wednesday for sure!

walked into the gym yesterday and my mates were in there...not good, i managed to crack out my exercises and reps but i reckon it was a bit too much of 'a larf' and i look to push my self as hard as i possibly can in my workouts and i dont feel i did last night (i.e. didnt do as well as i could on deadlifts as i did them second from last). oh well life goes on and all that ill get back to max intensity and effort next time!!!!

FRIDAY 18th JANUARY 2008
back/bis

wide chin ups - x7,x5,x3
bent over rows - 35kg x 8, 32.5kg x8, 30kg x 8 (felt i needed to lower the weight each time to bang out the reps)
deadlifts - 55kg x8,x8,x8 (should have been doing 60kg but couldnt after the other exercises )
bb curls 0 10kg x8,x8,x8 (much prefered this to the ez bar, will be using it alot more from now on)

have you taken any measurements of your arms, waist, chest etc? btw bananas contain fructose but are the only fruit to contain starchy carbs too.

it sounds like youre having a tough time gaining weight, what are your goals? try eating more good food, dont go over the top cause youll make yourself less fit. i got to big and bulkly and it wasnt an athletic weight for me but you could probably handle some extra weight depending on how much food you need to keep it. have you got pics?

alrite mate...dont get many visitors here . i used to have pics up but they were pretty poor quality, ill get some more up soon. Well my diet is a bit hit and miss, i basically try and get protein, carbs and fats in me every 3 hours.
for example my diet today was :
7.30 - 2whole eggs, 2 egg whites, 80g Alpen nd a load of water
10.45 - wholemeal wrap,a chicken breast and cucumber and a flax cap
2.00 - 110g wholemeal pasta, 2hole eggs 2 whites, flax cap
5.30 - 2 scoops of whey(about 20g protein) and a natural peanut butter sarnie in wholemeal bread
7.15 - about 115g of chicken, a sweet potato, salad and a flax cap
going out tonight so when i get in i have a whey shake and a bowl of weetabix and looooaods of water
then off to bed

^^^ that is pretty much a typical days diet, except my last meal will be about 10/10.30 and then ill be in bed at 11.
I guess i should be eating more but i am at school alot and i dont want to eat the food there as its not as clean/nutritious as i could make it and in terms of eating at home im pretty much on the edge of sending my parents barmy with eating at least four eggs a day ect and eating the weeks shopping of meat in about 3/4days
