It's people like you who contribute to my Pollo ad Astra (romana base naturally) wobbling all over the place by throwing your weight around in David Lloyd - seriously, that Pizza Express does not feel structurally sound!

Anyway, I'm actually a member of the Physique Warehouse in West Molesey, which is probably a bit out of your way but you have the option of Roy's gym (on the Hampton Wick side of the bridge), which although I haven't seen myself, is more geared towards body building than DL from what I have been told.

Getting a journal up and getting some constructive critcism is high on my list of priorities, in fact I'm making notes on it now, with regard to what I want to achieve etc. However, I may be getting a little ahead of myself because despite joining the gym I stand no chance of actually managing to get down there until the beginning of February - hence my posts elsewhere about the possibility of working out pre-work rather than post.

Keep up the good work!

I never even realised there was a Pizza Express in the Rotunda. I live by the Pizza Express the other end of Kingston by the riverside.

Just always been a member of a David Lloyd Reading/Epsom/Kingston for the last six years...

During the week I always workout before work. Gym is empty, much better! Just have to get up at 0600/0615 shovel some food down, give it an hour to digest a bit and get down the gym.

A few years back I really struggled to wake up and eat anything considerable before a morning workout. I used to have a super strength coffee dunked with a MetRx choc chip/cookie dough protein bar and a banana. Moved on to OJ/banana/whey/flax smoothie with weetabix... fine balance between getting enough calories and feeling full in the gym!

Photo...

Looking in the mirror I'm seeing more definition in my chest inbetween the pecs (esp when my arms are at my sides), also the sternum is peeking through, bottom line of abs just above belly button is also surfacing. Doesn't really come through on the photo's, I guess the phone camera may not help?

Can still grab a cm of skin/fat between my fingers on my lower belly, hopefully when that shifts I'll have a nice vertical line running down from abs...

Looking forward to clean bulking again now... Don't know how much longer this fat will take to shift... 4 weeks maybe??

Thanks mate... gotta have photos eh?

As a beginner to this the things at the forefront of my mind are
- how much longer to shift the rest of this fat?
- how much more weight will I need to lose (didn't think it'd be this much)?
- how much do you automtaically put back on when you eat normal amounts, carbs etc. (water, glycogen or whatever)?

Hmmm... you live and you learn

Weighed myself upon waking as usual; down to 89.8kg. Lost another kg last week.

Got about 4 hours sleep last night before this morning's session, woke up and felt like loose stool water, just couldn't be arsed to do measurements

On the plus side when I was doing stretching at the gym (under the extreme floodlight conditions) my tee-shirt rode up and their was a visible vertical line/groove running down from my belly button into my trackies. Still got some gut to lose but hopefully signs of an 8 pack

Proper measurements and photo next week!

Cool, thanks!

Curry for breakfast was an exception, I was in a bad, bad state that morning!

Will post an update photo later today...

Thanks James.

Without wanting to sound like a sycophant it's been very good having Drew's food & training help (I probably would have lost faith in what I was doing by now if I had gone it alone).

Cheers!

Lost nearly 2kg last week! Wasn't really expecting that.

Had a big cheat meal on Friday... the majority of a 2 person tandoori mixed grill, and a good helping of bhindi sabz and shai baygan. It was awesome! Anyone local to Kingston should try The Tandoor

Twice this week the cardio was slightly longer in duration than normal; Saturday I did 30 mins instead of 20 mins (after weights) as I was on the bike watching the end of Chelsea vs Barnsley and Sunday morning I did 90 mins instead of 60 mins (watching the second half of Any Given Sunday - long film).

The Biotest Hotrox Extreme gets me pretty wired; good in the mornings because I am normally a total zombie, in the afternoon at my desk it sometimes after taking it I need to walk around a bit

Photo to follow later.

I think the positioning or lighting or something masks the changes between the photo's a bit. The photo's are taken in my bedroom which is a mezzanine (sp?) over a living room will a full lenth (10m+) window... I think the light bounces around the place alot.

I took this photo in my bathroom - better I think.

Re the red socks - when I was painting over my face/pants I thought the socks looked really odd so I blanked them out, just looked back and seen that in alot of the photos I'm also wearing socks, couldn't be bothered to redo the paint skillz... just thought that warranted an explanation

(New phone/camera the photos are taken with - SE w890i bit of a pig when you have shakey hands!)
