@BIGTIME, yeah mate, been really busy as of late so not had much time for net. From what you say we could be twins LOL!!

@Bobler, The turbo rush is awesome, but my supercharged Corrado wasn't bad, plus had no lag and a bigger whistle!

@Mick_The_Brick, alright fella. Yeah, been away for a while but things seem to have picked up on here again. Good to be back.

@Taz, Hi mate, how you getting on? I should have pushed harder with legs!

@Oasis, I've not posted it on here at the min, although it might be in my old journal. It's all change from today anyway, read on and all will be explained.

Been doing my nutrition module for my personal trainer award over the last 3 days and have learnt loads. Our tutor is a lecturer at Leeds met and was awesome! We were all asked to write our diet down for the previous day with the macro break down. I think there was only me who could do it bang on LOL!!

Anyway I picked her brain with loads of things to do with my diet and she told me flat out to start eating big! She saw the look of shock on my face and replied with "Don't argue with me I'm a bio-chemist!" LOL!!

After she explained that due to me dieting for near on a year that my metabolism is shot (I now undersatnd why as I've finshed the course). I need to eat big and clean for a while to get it going at full speed again. (This is cue from a few people to say "I TOLD YOU SO!")

So away goes the cut until the end of Jan atleast!

BRING ON THE FOOD!!!

On another note, since HIT training started I've never slept as much! I'm getting around 9-10 hours a night

I still need a bit more convincing that my daily intake should be 60%carbs and I should have some before morning cardio?????

From now I'll cut cardio to 3-5 sessions per week of am steady state.
Daily food will be 7 meals with around 60g carbs, 40g pro and 8-10g fats. On training days I'll be adding a PWO shake with 45g whey, 2 weetabix and 20g dextrose.

@Bigtime, Yes mate, def time to give the gear a rest. I'm not looking to compete anytime in the near future and my HPTA could do with the rest. Am set to start PCT on xmas eve and won't be using again until may at the earliest.

@theiopener, Alright mate how's tricks? I'll be popping in your journal in a bit. To be honest I don't look fatter to my pre-hol pic. Although do look bigger over all. My shoulders, back and rear delts have made me look a lot deeper. I just need the definition now.
I'm want around 13st cut for august next year.

I'm not really going for a bulk as such, just going to up cals and carbs, drop protein a little and get my metabolism working at full speed again, once this is done I can concentrate on taking a while to cut. If I can make the saem progress next year that I did this year with carb cycling, I'm sure I'll do this. And to be fair it's not a massive out of reach goal. it would be foolish of me to say "I'm gonna get to 3%BF for hol!" It just wouldn't happen.

Just got back from doing shoulders and arms. I'm still trying things with HIT and must admit, I enjoy this way of training. Even though I'm asleep most of the time! LOL!

Workout was;
2 sets of military presses
2 sets of lat raises with double drop
2 sets on rear delt machine with 1 drop

2 sets Close grip pull down with 1 drop
2 sets standing cable curls (not sure what to call these?? Stood up in front bicep pose, holding cables and curling...... standing cable curls)

1 set push downs straight onto dips (did this twice)

All done in 25mins

This is true LOL!!! I do have a bit of a habit, but the only way I'm not going to do damage to myself and make sure I get the best from my next cycle is to take some much needed time off. Plus most of this year my head has been all over the place. Finally managed to come down to earth and see things from a new perspective and get a clear game plan set in place.

Biggest thing for me will be trying to overcome my phobia of eating. I'm panicing already about upping cals and carbs, but how on earth will my body work properly and get used to burning food if I keep putting less and less in???

Wasn't going to but might aswell put the last bit of my cycle up. For the next 3 weeks I'll be running;
100mg Prop, Materone and Tren every Mon, wed and fri with 25mg Proviron ED.

This IS going to be the last bit of gear I touch for a while (not counting IGF or GH).

Again this is true. Like I say, I have a stupid mental attitude towards things. I'm panicing loads at the min due to eating more the last few days and feel I look disgusting. Although I know what I should do, actually doing it is killing me! I'm in a cinstant mental battle.

I'm only doing cardio on days I don't lift now and just sticking to 40mins in the morning. Although am out for a walk at lunch today but nothing too stressing.

LOL i was only messing Rack.

It seems that many bodybuilders suffer this mental attitude with food.

Do you think it has to do with wanting to get the macros right, and making sure they get the correct amounts in on time?

I constantly clock watch until i get my next meal in.

I know you were only messing mate.

My attitude with food has done a complete 360 over the last 12 months. Before this and all of my life, I loved food. I'd just eat and eat and eat, be it for comfort or enjoyment. I'd always have an excuse to trough. But this lead me to looking and feeling like crap, so depression kicked in and I ate more.

Since starting to take training serious, I've hated food. I can't remember the last time I truely enjoyed a meal. I see it purely as fuel.
I'm not kidding when I say I'm scared of putting carbs in. I feel like I've put 2 stone on in the last 3 days and feel like I look disgusting. Even though, I just look bigger, not fatter. Ask marmite what I'm like, the amount of times he's told me to take a few more weeks from dieting is unreal. It's a wonder he's not told me to fcuk off, but I get petrified of getting fat again. It's only after learning more that I have had to sit down and force myself to do it! Yes I'm going to put weight back on in the next few weeks, no I won't look as good as I did for my holiday in august, but I WILL look a lot better for the 2008 hol and my cut next year will work better due to the time off.

The worst phase of my life happened about april this year, I was on a low/no carb diet and on my re-feed day I still wasn't eating carbs. My body and head were messed up. It got that bad, my ex gf bought me a small easter egg, I eat half then ran straight upstairs to the toilet, put my fingers down my throat and brought it back up. We were sat in a restaurant and I had to get up and walk out becaise what was wrote down on my diet plan wasn;t on the menu and I started sweating. I was constantly anxious about what time it was so I could eat and would have a panic attack if I was one minute late. It got that bad.

Now I'm still like this, but not to such an extent, I do have a bit of control back and do have to odd cheat. Although after eating it I get a massive wave of guilt, so make sure I keep it clean.

I'm having to force myself to eat more but hey like I keep saying "it's for the greater good".

I now know that me wanting to get a six pack for my hol this year was an unrealistic goal, I think I should be able to get the top 4 abs for next year with more hard work.

One thing I know for sure is that I look a lot better than I did 12 months ago (Marmite and Rightyo, it's been about a year now since I came for my metabloic test so hopefully you can confirm if you're reading )

Bloody hell that was a bit deep!! LOL!!

Very good read that was Rack.

What do you mean by the below statement mate? Is it because you were so strick with your diet your body needed a rest?

Ask marmite what I'm like, the amount of times he's told me to take a few more weeks from dieting is unreal. It's a wonder he's not told me to fcuk off, but I get petrified of getting fat again.

Sorry for the questions i just find it interesting as i know you have come a long way.

I got marmite, to write my diets out for me. I followed them to the T. He'd tell me to come off after 12 weeks and take a good 7-8 weeks of increased cals and carbs (again diets he wrote for me), but after about 4-5 I'd crack and go straight back onto cutting.

What this has done over the past year is gradually slow my metabolism down, so now it will be pretty low. My body will have adjusted it's needs and will not be burning as many cals. This has stopped my weight loss and started putting it back on. This in turn brought frustration back and made me want to eat even less.

My main goal over the next couple of months is to eat biggish and clean to get my metabolism back up and get my body used to burning a lot more calories due to it thinking I'm not starving. I know I'm going to have to put weight on to this, so am staying away from the scales! As long as I don't get too big I'll be ok. Plus next time I start dieting I'll be more efficient at it.
I'm also going to add a treat meal every week to prove I can eat a little bit of something else.

Hope this has answered the question mate?

Can i tell you something mate?

Reading what you just wrote up above is like looking in a mirror to myself and my mental affiliation with food

I ended up throwing away my scales because of it as it goes

amazing how ignorance is truly bliss isnt it?

when we didnt know about clean foods, macro breakdowns and the other bits that go with it we seemed to be happy with what we ate

I do sometimes miss those days to be fair. But i dont think ive ever purged before, i almost went nuts with guilt so i tended to just go to sleep to try and forget about it

To a certain extent, yes not knowing is good, but I wasn't really happy with how I looked. Prob the same as everyone on this site as we're constantly in the gym and weighing our food.

But then again, that's what seperates people who train from people who don't.

Prime example;
Now when I go out girls come up to me and say "you're chest is bigger than mine!" or "Oooo can I feel your arms!" I personally don't think I look good, but I prob look better than 75% of the people in a night club.
When I was 19st of fat I didn't get anyone coming upto me.

Spot on thanks Rack.

Thanks for being honest bud.

Reading your journal on ukm i read you were on DNP. Were you on this because your metabolism was fukced and you wanted to speek things up?

I know what you mean about not wanting to be fat again. I was a similar shape to you before you started to cut but a little more and i was just a lazy cnut.

I take it you kept pissing Steve off with all your emails then LMAO
