My Lord, I'd fall over if I ate that little!! I can get by on about 1000 calories a day if need be and a lot of it is stuff that fills you up like broccoli or salad, but not if I'm training too. Eat woman!!

Hiya Tic, Yeah, it seemed only a few calories, but by the end of yesterday I'd had 200gms of peanuts (1200 cals) 650gms of cottage cheese (550 cals) Myoplex shake (200 cals) and a big bowl of broc which was only around 100 cals, so all in all I guess I ate a little under 2000 cals. It's just the quantities didn't seem that great. I managed to refrain from the hubbys offer of 'a nice glass of wine' too Anyway, just about to get on the spinning bike for a 60 minute session - should see me getting hot and sweaty

I wouldn't worry about counting cals in broccolli. Cottage Cheese is healthy too. The peanuts I'd worry about buy hey ho, shi*e happens... If it makes you feel any better I had Museli, Fry up, 6 biscuits, 4 mini cakes, 150g Chicken, and a 3 course dinner y.day!!

Hi Flick I've always had a thing about peanuts - even when I was 7 and a half stone (I'm 5ft5) I was eating a 200gm pack virtually every day. Mind you - I was distance running and cycling at the time and having an hour in the pool 5 days a week. I'm trying to get some pictures up - but might have to get some help from Kitty, you'll see how teeny tiny I was then. It was the main reason for me using the weights again - to get some solid bulk on Nodumbelle

Eating the way you are there is no chance of you putting any bulk on! (sorry if thats blunt) Are you a vegetarian? If that is your usual daily diet then you really need to review it. Yes you will lose weight like that BUT you will also lose any muscle you try to put on. In fact I think it highly unlikely that you will put any muscle on with that diet. I'm really no expert and there are others on here who are far more knowledgable and I suggest you look around the relevant forums and articles....check out some of the ladies comp prep diets and then decide what it is you are really trying to do...Lose Weight? Lose fat? Add bulk? It really does depend on what you want. What is your goal! Sorry for being a poo bag

Well Ok - end to another day: Came home from Christmas shopping late So decided that abs alone would take the 'pre-tea' blast tonight - though this was severely hampered by my youngest son 'Merlin' (he's eight on 24th Dec 2007) wanting a workout routine...'NOW'. He picked up the 5kg and said this would do...ha, ha...so when I'd told him what to do with his weights and for how long, they dramatically reduced to 2 kg's. Now to me: I was late back from Christmas shopping - so, considering I'd done 1hrs HI cardio this morning I thought I'd get away with Abs only this evening! So I did the following: Cycling - knees to elbows - 3x 20reps Frog crunches - 3x20reps Reverse crunches - 3x12 reps Scissors x 3x12 reps Crunch with cross x12 each side Apparently my diet of today has been lost in hyper space! I posted it all, then got a blank screen!!! OK - to cut it short: Protein shake - 8am Handfull of nuts - 100gms 12pm - mixed salad, mixed nuts 4pm - mixed salad & mixed nuts 9pm - anything healthy!!!

Without knowing how many cals in your mixed nuts in the salad, i'd hazard a random guess at 1400-1500 cals today. Protein levels seem ok thanks to the all the nuts but seriously, try getting some varience into your diet. You'll get bored, the diet will stagenate and you'll start snacking. Also you have no carbs in there, they are needed for energy and also weight loss. Protein, carbs and EFAs are needed for weight loss, by chopping them out of your diet, you will be doing the diet a diservice. If I were you i'd get into the nutrition section and get some peeps to help you there. You'll lose weight quicker and in a healthier fashion

Hi ET, No, you're not being a poo bag - you're right the diet for the past couple of days has been crap and it certainly isn't what I would normally be eating - I had other stuff yesterday, but didn't log it And anyway, that's what this forum's about, sharing advice, so you did the right thing! Don't know if I'll get a workout done today - woke up at 4am with a migraine (always comes with the monthly curse - which decided to surprise me a week early, mid Christmas shopping ). Painkillers aren't working too well - so I'm sitting in bed, puter on lap and an icepack stuck to the side of my head! Hubby's whipping up some oats with a scoop of whey - which is what I normally start the day off with. Last few mornings it's been a Myoplex shake for speed. Anyway, I'll be back later coz the 'puter screen is doing nothing for the migraine quote:

Well, glad to report that as of this evening the migraine seems to be on its way out - a day early - usually it's a three day plague! Anyway - today was spent rather mundanely, getting on with chores etc and generally taking it easy - didn't want the migraine coming back with a vengeance! Have eaten a good balance of complex carbs and protein X5 today. Tomorrow will be a heavy day with good diet - and hopefully some good photo uploads - thanks Kitty! Nodumbelle

Yeah - slender like Paula Radcliffe fine if you like that physique - but in that picture I'm wearing a pair of 'Fcuk' size 6 jeans and they were hanging! When you're doing that much cardio it's really difficult to eat enough to keep up your energy, let alone size! I'm gonna try and upload the proper size images (there's five - all showing an increase in muscular size), but the ones I've uploaded are crap - even I can't see me - and I know what I'm supposed to be looking at Need a bit of time though - started a new job yesterday and I have to learn a heap of new stuff - and I'm still studying to be a Personal Trainer - chuck in Christmas, three kids, bla, bla, bla I downloaded them through photobucket - with the help of my 14yr old..Mmmm! quote:

OK - today I did a lifestyle workout I helped hubby move the contents of the workshop out so he could spring clean it - then back in again. So lifted Karts, engines (Kart, motobike and car) compressors, generators etc. I know it wasn't a proper workout, but there was plenty of squatting etc in there...honest Then did a 10k run - OK, I have to admit a slight cheat, I took one of the dogs...she's a Deerhound who stands at around 6ft on her hinds -so she kinda helped me on the hills Bloody hell, she's so big she could help Santa! Diet today was pretty good: 7am: Buckwheat bread with Whole Earth crunchy peanut butter - always have Whole Earth coz it has no added sugar. 10am: As 7am. 12.30: Mixed leaf salad with cottage cheese (325 gms) and 1 tablespoon cold-pressed flaxseed - no dressing. 2.30: Cottage cheese (325 gms) with flaxseed - no dressing. 5pm: Mixed salad with yellowfin tuna- no dressing. 8pm: Steamed white fish with salad and mixed beans - no dressing.
