Hey NDB! Good to see you in this section. Encouragement is here aplenty. A stone in a month...wow...only way I can do that is by chopping a limb off!

Hiya ET - that sounds kinda wrong Thanks for dropping by. The weight loss was real easy - I had the Merina coil removed! No dieting as such, though I have been eating relatively clean and no binging Do you live down near Kitty? Only askin' coz I travel down that way every four weeks or so. Be good to meet up 2008 sometime. I'm up way north of Aberdeen and there's really no-one to train with, so it can get a bit lonely at times. The gym I go to is great, but none of the girls lift heavy I've been so inspired by Kitty to 'pull my finger out and get on with it' - she's done amazingly well. The last time I really transformed my figure it took me three months, so that's what I'm aiming for again. I'm gonna try and get some piccys up, but I'm not very computer literate - so it may take a while Nodumbelle

Kitty is just up the motorway from me and she pops down to the gym when she misses me too much LMFAO or she is on a mission at the Trafford Centre (horrible place ). You're right she is an inspiration and such a lovely, lovely bright, sparky and feisty lass. Maybe we could all hook up once a month or so at the gym for a session and a ching wag. I'm sure you ladies could teach me a thing or two and we can always rope my other half in to come up with weird and wonderful ideas (I'm sure he wouldn't mind having you lovely ladies hanging off his machines lol). Even a brew and a chat would be cool....that's if we can get a word in edgeways with Kitty Excuse my ignorance but what is a Merina coil? ?

Wow, if I could transform my figure in 3 months I'd be well-impressed with myself!! Go for it NDB, and don't let stupid ol' Christmas stand in your way!

Thanks guys - really appreciate your support! Yeah - funny time of the year to kick off a new regime, but I figured I'd rather start now, then Jan 1st and have another half a stone of Christmas excess to shift. You know what it's like when the time's right, nothing is going to get in your way and especially when you've done it before. I can well remember being proud of my 'bod' and that feeling is way better then any food or wine tastes! The meet up in March sounds really good - I'll look forward to that - if it's around my birthday maybe someone could come up with a recipe for a 'protein cake' Nodumbelle

Woohoo -Just kidding 'bout the cake! Sweet stuff isn't usually my problem. savoury stuff does it for me - nice cheeses & breads with lurpak etc. So what do you guys do in the March meet up. Is it a day thing or an evening out?

OK, end of day one. Sods law I had to pick a hectic day - when both my computers decided to crash on me (and one of them's just back from the repair shop)! Did a really light workout, which I now regret Used 5kg (don't laugh) for all exercises below and did 3 sets of 12 for each: Shoulder Press Lat Raise Front raise Tri Kickbacks Curls For legs I just used ankle weights and did 3x20 reps for the following: Abductor leg raises Adductor leg raises Hip flexor leg raises Hip extensions Diet was clean, but not great: 9am Myoplex shake 12.30pm Half a large tub of extra light cottage cheese 3pm Couple of handfuls of peanuts 5.30pm Other half tub of cottage cheese 7.30pm Couple of handfuls of peanuts Didn't drink nearly half as much as I should have done either - too much tea and not enough water! Still, plenty of room for improvement tomorrow - will work with the Marceys, get some extra weight in, couldn't really feel anything with the 5kg's. Well, that's it for the first day - have tried getting some photos up, but the computer is not playing ball. Hope this computer doesn't go up sh** creek too - it's the only one working in the house

That diet is non existant!!!!!!!!!! You couldn't sustain a sparrow on that. I'm deffo not the best with diet advice but I really think you should be eating more especially if you are training. No point in putting in all that hard work in the gym if you don't fuel your body ! It's sooooooooooooooo easy to fall into the food is BAD trap...don't do it! Come on...you know better than that I am sure of it Honey!

Yeah...I did have a few handfuls of peanuts...I've got BIG hands Forgot to add - I did have a huge bowl of brocolli too, doused with dijon. Have a real addiction to dijon at the mo' - eat so damn much of it on everything it makes my eyes water
