Scott32 -> 1989 the birth of a beast.. Updated pics page 40 (Dec. 16 2007 23:09:45)

Right guys this is a premature 08’s journal, I will be the first to admit its not going to be highly structured nor is it going to be even that legible but nevertheless its here to help me focus!

I have trained since the age of 14 in some way or another, going from rugby as a fat young teen, to a year later (15) going on a crash diet lots of cardio and weights 6 days a week (this was a terrible way of losing weight but I did see good results albeit with some health issues.)

From 15-16 onwards I finally found some form of format to my training, 5 days week resistance training at 9.2 stone (minimal body fat 7%).

Over the last 2 and half years I have been dedicated to bodybuilding alone, having quit rugby after a motorcycle crash resulting in a broken knee this has since healed to 90% efficiency.

I am sitting at 16.9 stone 23%bf at a height of 5,8 and am 18 years of age.

Plans for this year include getting up on a bodybuilding stage competing as a junior (if I feel adequate enough).

So guys that’s basically it well make the rest up as we go along! [:)]

Hey Scott I'll be following this one, some size you have there man for 18. You think you have enough of a timescale to get cut up? You planning on running anything for your cut mate?

Apollo -> RE: 1989 the birth of a beast.. (Dec. 16 2007 23:26:39)

Ive been waiting forever for this! Good luck mate!

Scott32 -> RE: 1989 the birth of a beast.. (Dec. 16 2007 23:38:44)

Cheers boys.

PL - time scale well be fine, but im cutting slowly as well still be in PCT so really just moving slowly on to eatting cleanly.

Well lay out my stages of cutting protical some time tomura got to get my head round it myself also.

Clen may be used but i dont think i will need it until last couple of weeks befor show.

bl2929 -> RE: 1989 the birth of a beast.. (Dec. 16 2007 23:46:29)

Scott32 -> RE: 1989 the birth of a beast.. (Dec. 16 2007 23:52:41)

carl19 -> RE: 1989 the birth of a beast.. (Dec. 17 2007 0:50:29)

as ive said before scott, good luck with the comp if you make it BUT..... you havent left enough time imo

no matter how big you are you cant win if your not in condition and tbh your time frame doesnt allow for your stats to reach the conditioning needed imo

on another note mate you have some amazing size....

we are a good comparison as i am 5ft 8 and i am about 15 stone 6 and about the same bf
ive seen your cut pics and you did really well ......
What were your last natural stats?????

my target comp is 08 june 08 and i am starting cutting same time as you and i will have less fat to loose if we are both the same %

btw a good journal has PICS, STATS, and Best LIFTS [;)] so give us a gud n

Powerlifter88 -> RE: 1989 the birth of a beast.. (Dec. 17 2007 0:57:02)

Yeah we need some stats, pics, lifts...just ocs I'm a curious bastard [:D]

Scott32 -> RE: 1989 the birth of a beast.. (Dec. 17 2007 0:59:40)

Hey Carl mate.

Bf changes from person to person how they measure it etc. its just a bog standerd caliper test 6 differant body part.

4th of May is the comp thats 4months of dieting 16 weeks that is by far enough time i believe - i can drop bf wieght fast it wont be a problem last year i cut in Feb and came in to quickly. If worst comes to worst il sacrafise a little muscle lbs.

15.4 stone was my wieght befor my cycle 9 weeks ago but i was a bit leaner then to so pritty much were your at now!

Pics and stats will come tomura as will as cutting plan.

I'll be keeping an eye on this too.

A couple of questions though:

1) How deep were the squats
and
2) Why dont you rate deads? They are one of the best for total body mass gains just like squats.

Scott32 -> RE: 1989 the birth of a beast.. (Dec. 17 2007 1:24:43)

Courtesy of the tape –

Legs - L 29 inches R 29.5 inches

Chest – 48-50 inches

Calves – both 17.5 inches

Biceps – both shade under 18 inches.

Waist – 38 inches.

Squats just below para mate.

I like high rep stuff dont believe deads are good for hypertrophy at high reps.
(just prone to injury with deads i feel)

Bent over rows on the other hand love them!

carl19 -> RE: 1989 the birth of a beast.. (Dec. 17 2007 1:51:04)

your bench press is phenomonal, wow

squat is very good too

i feel deads are great for all round mass for beginners however certainly not the be all and end all thet peeps make em out to be.

you have a bright bb future with those stats at 18... i think i hate you[:D]

be safe dont do long term damage as you may want different things when your older

Scott32 -> RE: 1989 the birth of a beast.. (Dec. 17 2007 1:57:38)

That is a great point mate - and i no i will want differant things when i am older, only sticking to short managable cycles!

Well get video up to start the new year with.
