loving the free time i'm getting... i do miss the BJJ but to be honest i'm still in the honeymoon period of getting back into training
still have some residual strength which is dab handy, just trying to reign in my enthusiasm to get me from training every spare minute lol.

just ordered 4.5kg of CNP Pro Mass and 100g of CNP Creatine Mono
Myprotein isnt cutting it for me anymore and i thought i'd support MT by using Thaifighters new site

Legs....

Started off with some bodyweight hamstring curls by lodging my calves behind the thigh pads on the lat pull down machine and using the seat as a knee pad. Completed the first two sets with bodyweight for around 6 reps, then used the weights to assist me back up.
With the hamstrings warmed nicely it was time to start the squats:

Squats:
5 x 6 110kg

Leg extensions
2 x 9 77kg
2 x 8 70kg
1 x 9 63kg

Stiff Leg Deadlifts (using platform)
2 x 10 70kg
3 x 10 80kg

*sick to my stomach by now*

Standing calve raises
2 x failure 93kg
2 x failure 86kg

sitting calve raise (smith)
4 x failure 120kg

Each time i climbed down off the platform for stiff leg deads my thighs gave out from beneath me and the burn i was getting from the leg extensions was churning up my stomach to no end.

Afterwards i hobbled down the stairs, tried to neck my protein shake and keep it down and hit the shower keeping in mind i wasnt looking forward to going back up the stairs to the reception desk and down a different flight of stairs to get out

As soon as i got home my legs were shaking and i was drained so had a cat nap... cooked dinner and started to feel better.

DOM's are kicking in this morning

I'm on a bulk now mate, caution to the wind and going for mass mass mass....
I'm aware of what foods not to eat that bloated me big style on my last 3 bulks (white pasta main culprit) but i'm going to give my body the most anabolic environment to grow in than to worry about BF%.

I see myself on a bulk for about a year minimum

I will be having cardio days to keep the heart ticking over but no where near the intensity fight prep levels.
I'm in the thought camp that the 'lean bulker cutter' is the most painfully slow way to go about bodybuilding, you have to be prepared to put on a bit of chub to get the muscle you desire...

Contest wise this would put me to 2010 as i would require the full 16 week prep to shed what i can imagine being 25% BF
I'll gauge and see where i am in the winter, i might do one show next year just for the experiance...probably the EFBB portsmouth (my home town).

Coolio, i'll check our back dock after lunch, the guys usually get parcels for me all the time from myprotein

these are basically my thoughts on it aswell mate.

although not an excuse to get fat it is inevitable if you want significant gains like you said.

i dont count calories either i just make educated guesses lol

over the past year or so ive gone through about 20kg of pro-mass. i used to have it at work and post workout. when are you planning on drinking it?

anyway good to see another person who isnt fcuking about

I'll be gauging by the mirror mainly than the weighing scales, if i am looking a bit too on the puffy side i will trim carbs back a bit and carry on as normal. My missus is supporting me 100% and more happy to assist in my bodybuilding than my MMA... something about seeing me more
I'm taking her out to dinner tonight, she thinks its a lovelly treat...nandos is more of my treat

Pro-Mass is the nuts, the temptation is to drink it for my usual 3 shakes a day as stated above in my general diet breakdown

its good to find like minded people on MT
