cheers bobler, you should definately do it, it is my motivation for a good diet and solid training.

i reckon i will compete at 12-12.5 stone at 5ft8 ...... some of my muscles are crap but there is enough there to create the illusion with a low bodyfat...

It is just an illusion,

it would be great to compete aginst a fellow MT'er.... also only one lad did the northern last year so you would be in with a chance

me and my training partner wanna enter

Hi Carl
I wouldn't mind popping in mate from time to time if that's ok with you.
We have similiar stats and goals goals except I've got 20 years on you and I'm not really looking to compete.

Yes I am mate, pics on Page 1.
I'm still a fat bar steward but not quite as fat as I was 6 months ago.
I'm not sure of my BF but our starting weights and height are very similar.

I hope we are on stage together, it could be a nice friendly atmosphere, me and my mate and you and your mate.....

btw way tell your mate that his squat should be better than his bench

Bench is ok but I need to crack on with my legs, very poor, also need to improve my grip which in turn will hopefully see my deads go up.
Still, only into my 7th month of training now so see how we go.

40 +
guess your still enjoying the beginner gains then, lucky you,

my grip is quite good and i have big strong forearms really.......try to avoid straps as long as you can

i am fortunately blessed with a large lower body, if i wasnt i dont think i could be arsed working them enough to gain the size they have, but i have to admit i have difficulty gaining upper body mass.

update

weight is at 15 stone 6

i feel good and i have lost that fast initial water weight however i look better and i dont feel too flat

diet is easy to follow at the moment,

i am having the occasional carb rich meal.

looking foreward to some steak as i have just been given 2 fillets and a sirloin as a thank you gift.

changing routine round tomorrow i think, my training partners head hasnt been in the training for a while and it is impacting on my training so we are giving it a revamp in hope of more focus from both of us

bye bye full body and hello 3 day split again....

How not to cheat a poly test -

* Don’t take a sedative or other kind of medication that will slow your heart rate and keep you relaxed during the questioning. Blood pressure medication would also not help.

*Don’t take some form of stimulant to keep up your heart rate so you seem to lie on all of the questions and they would throw out the results of the test.

* Don’t try putting a tack in your shoe. Some people put a tack in their shoe so they can step on it while answering all the questions so that it will make it look like they are lying on all the questions. You should also not bite your tongue to evoke a similar response.

* Don’t administer antiperspirant on your hands. This will keep your hands from sweating and being detected through the fingerplates, but you should not do that.

*Don’t practice your lies so much that you get used to saying them, only tell the truth.

*Don’t practice mentally to repress your physiological reactions to stressful questions.

*Don’t take a deep breath and continue to hold your breath so it will record an un-normal response. Only shallow breaths for honest people.

*Try not to flexing your arm muscles will also distort the recording of your blood pressure.
