I thought about fishing out my old journal but this is a new journey with an actual destination this time so I have decided to start a brand new Journal. I will be competing for the first time this summer and i want to document my journey as im sure it will make an intresting read for me to look back on and i might inspire some one else. It might be awkward to up-date every single day because santa didn't bring me a lap-top for christmas but my husband has agreed to let me use his .

I'll post curent stats and proposed diet tomorrow as im not back to a normal routine at the moment....roll on school term! Can't wait to get on with it! I've given up on this dream so many times before and all around me every day i see people over comming adversity and achieving things they never thought possible. I've seen...well read amazing stories on here too; Kitty, Flick, Lollie to name but a few. It's time to dust off the training gloves and go for it. I've put the "incident" with the TIN OF CELEBRATIONS well and truly behind me...This cookie aint gonna crumble!

Ahh thanks for the warm welcome
I will have a date by the end of the month.

As of this morning weight 67kg I was 65k just a few days ago...before the christmas binge Moving on...

My Regime looks like this

GYM 3x per wk
Fasted cardio 2x per wk

DIET

WAKE black coffe
40 mins low intensity cardio 2x per wk
30g whey (post cardio)

8:00 40g porridge, fruit, 1sp honey

9:00 GYM (20g whey pre and post work-out)

45min later 80g chicken 3 oatcakes, fruit

13:00 100g chicken or fish, 40g rice or pasta, salad

2:45 LRG handfull nuts and seeds, 80g chicken, fruit

17:00 100g chicken or fish, 40g rice or 40g pasta or med sweet potao, pro-biotic yog

19:00 30g muslie, 200ml skim milk and 2 sp natural yog

Bedtime 200g cottage cheese

Ok so thats the plan, it's a lot of eating and cooking but it's do-able because i'd been following this 3 wks prior to the christmas break and it fits in nicley with my life-style.

I expect to lose a couple of kg in the next few weeks which will mostly be water. Then thats it, i don't imagine i'll be lower that 65kg for a while. This phase is about putting on "muscle and size, nothing to do with weight loss!" (James Collier 2008)
Not aiming for weight loss is a new concept to me but im trusting a higher source on this one!

I've trained legs today and i'll do fasted cardio tomorrow. My foster son isn't back to school till tuesday so in the meantime the main focus will be the above nutrition plan.

Nice to be back

Wow get you!!! Good luck girlie, diet looks fab, don't get hung up on the scales (which will be teh hardest mentality to break by far).
As James said, it's about gaining muscle which certainly won't mean losing weight...

Your dreams are just ahead of you, all you have to do is reach out and grab them...

Diet
10:00 30g whey
11:00 40g porridge, 1 sp honey, plum

13:00 80g chicken, 3 oat cakes

15:45 100g haddock, parsnips, cabbage

18:00 80g chicken, 40g basmatti rice, pro-biotic yog 1/2hr later

I hear you about the 80g of chicken I had get an email conformation when i first weighed it out! It soon adds up when your having it 4x a day.

I got stuck in Birmingham city centre car park today with a puncture, had to wait for RAC ....I was well prepared though, plenty of tupa ware in my car. One in my glove one in side door and one on passanger seat! I dont know what the RAC man thought cause i aint exactly a small girl! Must have thought I was a food-a-holic...oh, I am!

Monday
Swapped my cardio and weight training day around this week as my foster son doesn't go back to school till tomorrow, then order will be restored! Must admit It was a shock to the system getting up so early but great way to start the day. Iv'e been in a good mood all day, despite the incident in the car park. Even after the RAC rescue when i took my car to several trye places and was told my tyre needed replacing, i was still cool. Even when I was imformed my tyres were gonna be a stupid price because they're low -profiles (???) I didn't freak...see how long this lasts!

6am WAKE black coffe
6:10 40 mins low intensity cardio 2x per wk
7:00 30g whey (post cardio)

8:00 40g porridge, 1sp honey, tangerine

11:00 80g chicken 3 oatcakes, coffe

13:00 100g chicken, 40g rice, coffe

14:45 2 very LRG handfulls nuts and seeds, 80g chicken

17:00 100g salmon, 2 new potatoes, 5 sprouts, 3 baby carrots

19:00 30g muslie, 200ml skim milk, 1 low fat pro-biotic yoghurt

*****gonna have early night, will have cottage cheese bed-time*****
