Hi CD, thought I would check out your journal too!

Pretty damned detailed girl! Memo to self: less waffle, more detail!

Good luck - still planning to compete this year?

C

ElfinTan -> RE: COOKIE WON'T CRUMBLE! (Jan. 23 2008 21:40:39)

CD do you just do one exercise per bodypart?

flick161 -> RE: COOKIE WON'T CRUMBLE! (Jan. 24 2008 7:39:57)

Now I'm not so impressed with my PB on Shoulder Press anymore... [:(]

Well done fo sticking with it CD, keep it up! [:D]

Cookie dough -> RE: COOKIE WON'T CRUMBLE! (Jan. 24 2008 11:35:24)

Yes im still planning to compete this year. My journals not as detailed as it could be, i have to use husbands lap-top. When i type stuff down it re-afirms it in my mind...like 'why am i doing this?'

Tan I don't usaly do one exercise per body part, i had a brain melt down and just couldn't remember my exercises when i logged on. [8D] My training is split over 3 days and I usally do 2-3 exercises per body part, depending on size. I usally start with a big compound exercise 4 sets, then a further two exercises 2 sets. Then i move on to the next muscle group....im not overly strict on following a particular programme im just going at it as hard and heavy as i can (while im still eating all this food) with-out compromising too much form.

Flick i only managed 4....but i am pretty chuffed[:D]

Toadays training before i forget!

THURSDAY- LEGS

Squats: warm-up 20kg bar x 12 / 40kg x 10 / 40kgx10 / 50kgx8
SLDL: 40kgx10 / 40kgx9/ 40kgx8 / 45kgx8 (lossing grip)
Smith machine lunges: 20kgx6...too heavy[:@] / 10kgx10 / 10kgx10 / 15kgx10 / As$ killing me! [:)]
Leg Extension: 30kgx12 / 35kgx10 / 40kgx8 / 40kgx6
Calve raises: 12 / 12 / 12

I should also add i did 40mins fasted cardio this morning. Im supossed to do this 6 days per week from feb but i thought i'd ease myself in early and i've been setting alarm 5:45am to get used to it. Thing is once im up it's tempting to get on bike so i thought i'd might aswell get a head start plus it might neutralise those binges i had last week. [&:]

Im gonna try keep it down to 4x per week for now....but it is weirdly addictive, besides i've gotten rather fond of GMTV! [:)]

flick161 -> RE: COOKIE WON'T CRUMBLE! (Jan. 24 2008 20:49:00)

That's 4 more than most ladies can do at that weight... [;)]

11:00 80g chicken, 3 oatcakes
13:20 80g chicken, 40g rice, chopped onion
15:00 80g chicken, 2 LRG handfulls nuts and seeds
17:00 100g salmon, 60g sweetpotato, brocli
18:45 30g muslie, 2 spoons natural yoghurt
-----will have cottage cheese before bed-------

Cookie dough -> RE: COOKIE WON'T CRUMBLE! (Jan. 24 2008 20:58:39)

Hi there flick, yes thats true!
Im off to bed now to get an early start. Im armed with a copy of uk beef magazine and i've just picked up a new comfy padded bike seat from asda which hubby has just fitted on my spin bike. Im ready for the morning. It's funny, the things that make me happy these days! [:)]

flick161 -> RE: COOKIE WON'T CRUMBLE! (Jan. 24 2008 21:00:12)

What would have made it 10/10? Don't forget to buy Februarys Beef, then you can go to bed staring at my pretty face ha ha ha [:D]

ElfinTan -> RE: COOKIE WON'T CRUMBLE! (Jan. 24 2008 21:04:19)

CD!!!!!! Don't worry about brain meltdowns - I have them on a daily basis lol!

Cookie dough -> RE: COOKIE WON'T CRUMBLE! (Jan. 25 2008 18:04:32)

Having fruit or green veg and having just 0ne instead of 2 man-size handfulls of nuts and seeds would have been 10/10 [X(] I might get top marks today though. [:)]

Cookies Tip of the day....If you own more that one shaker, always ensure you have selected the correct shaker lid before shaking your protien in the car!

Tan I think my diet may be lacking omega 3's which are suspossed to promote better brain function?[8D]

Just had to say LMFAO at the shaker incident! Have had similar experience in the kitchen - there are some interesting stains on the ceiling that Vanish still won't shift!

Im one of those silly people who 'don't like water' [8|] I know, i know how important it is especialy in body-building. I do drink plain water during in exercise but thats not enough. I'm addressing this problem though. I filled up large 2 litre bottle of very weak sugar free squash. It took me all day to drink it which suprised me cause it didn't look like much. I will be aiming for 3 litres today.[:)]

Cookie dough -> RE: COOKIE WON'T CRUMBLE! (Jan. 28 2008 15:17:16)

Had 2.5 litres water yesterday. [:)]

Had a cheat meal(s) last night choc mouse and skinny cow. The mouse wasn't clean quark stuff...oh no it was full-on cadburys. The effects probably weren't that bad for my body but i slipped back into the old mind-set of binge eating. Which lead to a sh*ty attitude and a cr@py morning this morning.....8 choc crispy square bars,250g mini eggs.

I had to post that as a reminder to myself. Hope I aint made any one feel sick! It's there for me to look back on this summer when i compete.

I know what im like, i can be over confident at times. I'll need to remind my-self that this demon is just round the corner. Can't get rid of it but when i compete it means i can beat it somtimes and thats good enough for me[:)]....well thats where im at now anyway....prob still high from sugar[8D]
