Today

Legs

Squats 3 x 8 60kg

Leg extension 3 x 8

Leg curl 3 x 8

Calf raises 3 x 10 (last set to failure)

Got my new diet through today and am very pleased and excited to get it into practise, got lots of new bits ordered and trying some different foods. Definately will be eating alot more than i am at the moment, so hopefully my goals will become more real now.

Just tried my PWO shake in water instead of milk, wasn't as bad as i thought it would be and can definately get use to it

Today

Back, Biceps and Abs

Deadlifts 3 x 8 50kg

Bent over rows 3 x 8

Barbell bicep curls 3 x 8

Lat pull down 3 x 8

Situps 3 x 8

Lef raises 3 x 8

Nothing major to report today, im absoloutly knackered though! deadlifts drain me big time!

Weighed in today at 10.10 stone, getting there now!

Also recieved my dips belt now so i can finally do some weighted dips!

Got chest and triceps today

really pleased with how things are going at the moment roll on 11 stone!!

Today

Chest, triceps and shoulders

Bench press 2 x 8, 1 x 6 40kg

Incline fly 3 x 8

Weighted dips 3 x 8

Overhead press 3 x 8

skull crushers 1 x 8



My bench press felt a little weak today which is annoying, couldn't manage all my reps on my last set

Finally got my dipping belt and did my 3 sets with 5kg weight hanging from the belt, its awesome to get the proper burn back in my triceps that dips give you - look forward to progressing through the weights on dips now

Not sure why i did one set of skull crushers.

Overall a good workout my diets still going fine finding it really easy to stick to, sweet potatoes are awesome

Just wondering... how come u factor in your cheat meals? I would assume that with your physique, you could get away with alot more than me for example. Or do u put on weight by having a one off cheat meal. Cos mate, all i have to do is look at a Mc'D's or a BK to put on weight. So i tend to avoid them. But keep it up mate. U got a good lean base to start from... wish i was naturally lean.

I love salmon at the minute aswell, shame how expensive it is - then again I buy the packet stuff from Asda.

Jebiah - You look good in that picture, I bet you could hit 11 stone in a month easy and still look lean.

I doubt i would put on any weight from eating kfc or other crap alongside what im doing just i dont see the need for them really, i eat so much food that i dont really have time for junk food anymore!

If i feel the need to eat some junk then ill just go and eat some just im not too bothered about it because the food i eat is really nice anyway!

Yeah its good stuff, not something i would eat every day but its good to change things up a little bit

Thanks mate im trying real hard to reach my goals and i can see the results coming already just need to keep at it.

Im feeling a bit down today, went out on the town last night had a good time but i always feel bad for doing it.

Thigh ... i can't remember haha

just thought i'd do it for fun, feel real crap today, not hunger just .. crap

Hi
Was readin over ur journal, good stuff, we're quite similar in size and age (I'm knockin on a bit at 22 now) - I'm a touch smaller and lighter and aiming to get a little heavier in the long term.
Although ul get there quicker! I don't posses your admirable dedication to diet, although I've made a conscious effort the last two weeks to improve it. However I'm a man who used to work in McD's hav a meal or two every day and then go to McDs on my day off!!! so I never plan to end my love affair with McD's entirely
Will keep track of your journal, good progress so far.

Hey mate thanks for the kind words i find a diet is easier to stick to if you enjoy the food your eating

Unlike you im too keen on McD's im more of a kfc kinda guy, tho im getting rather good at cooking chicken now so think i would be mildly disappointed at kfc's chicken now! (bbq marinade and hot paprika on chicken *dribble*)

Get a journal up and running mate it helps alot to keep track of what your doing.

Hey mate yeah everythings going okay feeling a bit better now, Steve Blades (Marmite) made the diet for me and am loving it so far! also just started a cycle of creatine, god damn that stuff tastes like arse haha

Today

Legs

Had a bit of a **** session today, we went during the day in college hours and there were loads of little college dweebs swinging bicep curls all over the place and stealing all the weights! lol but we got the keys for our house today!!! so diet and training been a bit **** im a bit all over the place trying to sort stuff out, going to go do some painting and decorating in a bit!

anywho only managed 2 main excercises

Squats 3 x 8 70kg impressed with this one as ive upped the weight again, squats are awesome this really knocked the wind out of me!

leg extension 3 x 8

that was all i managed so a bit of a **** session, i say my diet was **** its not that im eating crap food just bad timing of meals really as had to go to estate agents etc etc

anyway i think thats it for today got some hardcore painting to do! well excited

Just thought i'd do a quick update, i've taken a weeks "holiday" for decorating my house trying to stuff in as many calories a day as i can but im not too worried as everything will resume when its finished and im moved in did 17 hours of painting yesterday so as you can imagine not much time to stop and eat

sorry if thats stupidly unreadable, its late and im shattered! can't wait to finish the house and get back to normal

(Still going to the gym aswell! so hopefully any damage ive done to my bulk will be minimal)

Finally got the internet setup at my new house now! so can resurect my journal, Although my journal has been dying a death my training hasn't so for a quick overview of where i am now:

Bench press PB 75KG

Squats PB 110KG

Deadlifts 70KG - hurt my back a while back so take it easy on these, also struggle with grip!

Currently weigh between 11.1 and 11.3 stone ish

got some pics to put up shortly but im going out soon so don't have time at the moment!

also got a new routine and will post that up too!

good to be back!!! :)

Thanks for the post mate i just checked out your journal sems your doing well so far! i'll leave a comment in a minute.

Felt kind of down yesterday because my diet sucke so i sorted it out and got up early and have been eating fine all day so far

Gym today:
