Cardio 40 minutes straight after waking (very late today) Weight 13 stone 11.75lbs (no progress although did have an extra meal this morning before bed maybe it weighing me down, or maybe gravity is stronger today?) Tummy 36'' (I have bought a new tape since the old has failed to appear, I wil take this as good progress, another inch off before holiday would be nice though) I will make a supreme effort to fit in all my cardio this week and maybe a couple extra in the evening wouldn't hurt, my life is very sedentry otherwise.

dont go by the scales, it doesnt tell you the whole story you could be losing fat but gaining muscle? its very easy to get hung up on what the scale says, before my fight i was bordering on paranoid after every meal what the scale would read and i went to the gym just to weigh myself...it was that bad. dont be that guy!

I already am that guy Weighed myself again today and was 13.9 so I think It was just extra food in me. Cardio 20 mins straight after waking

Bench warmup 20 * 20, 40 * 10, 60 * 10 set 1 82.5 * 5, 77.5 * 3, 72.5 * 3 set 2 70 * 7, 65 * 4, 60 * 3 Squat BW * 20, 40 * 10, 60 * 10, 80 * 10 Lunges Bw * 12 Left, 12 Right, 20(switched to BB) * 10 Left 10 Right, 50 * 10 L 10 R EZ Curls warmup 20+bar * 12 set 1 30+bar * 8, 30+bar * 5 Crunches BW * 20 Dont fancy rows atm, already have ideas for changes to routine after holiday, add an extra day with CG bench, CG chins and Calf raises. Motivation for this week is 3 Doors Down - Duck And Run , enjoy.

BB OHP warmup 20 * 10, 30 * 10 set 1 47.5 * 9, 42.5 * 3, 37.5 * 3 (better than last week) set 2 42.5 * 5, 37.5 * 3, 32.5 * 5 Deadlift warmup BW Squats * 10 40 * 10, 60 * 10, 80 * 10 (all done slow and controlled, no noise when touching the ground) WG Chins set 1 20 * 6, 15 * 2, 10 * 3 set 2 15 * 3, 10 * 3, 5 * 3 Crunches 15 * 15 Ok today, less carbs as holiday approaches (less than 1 week) so unsurprisingly I ran out of energy a bit by Chins.

Very pleased with my new PB on bench (previous best 85*8) was hoping for 90 or above but wishing on 100, wishes do come true . Max on squat is still well below my previous best which was either 130 or 140 for 8 reps. Didn't do lunges as legs had done their work and was running out of steam again.

OHP about what I expected (2/3 of bench) and 2 PB (previous PB 50 * 8). Deadlift was not a PB but not too weak considering I havnt gone heavy/trained consistantly for a while on this (injury and laziness). Didn't bother with singles on chins, only interested in singles on the big 3 - EZ curls, preacher curls, hammer curls jk. Holiday tomorrow, supposedly a gym at the hotel but it is unlikely to have much in the way(weigh ) of weights.

I am back from holiday, glad to be back. Had a good time mostly. I gorged myself at the buffet, taking a very british interpretation of the 'all you can eat', a challenge. Afters for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I felt I had put on a few pounds after the first week, but a good dose of food poisoning soon sorted that out, not completely recovered yet. I trained a few times getting a couple of weight sessions and a few cardio in. Will start back trainging next week, still not decided on cutting or bulking but i think it will be bulking with a DS course soon. I bought a fair bit of test in egypt and some pct stuff, some gear is fake I am sure but also some is real, pct stuff is good, all in all saved a fair bit of money but will be more careful and read up more (on fakes and how to spot) before buying abroad again.

Didn't train this week, was still ill till tuesday and didn't feel like it. Done today as my new addition to the previous routine to gauge weights, havnt done these lifts for a good while, so even less impressive weights than normally shown in this journal. Upping calories now to get into a bulking diet, DS cycle planned for may. CG Bench warmup 20 * 20, 40 * 12, 50 * 10 (felt the elbows coming out so this weight is a little high for now) set 1 45 * 12, 40 * 10 set 2 45 * 10, 40 * 10 set 3 45 * 7, 40 8 Calf Raise (standing full extension up/down) 20 * 15, 60 * 8, 70 * 6, 60 * 6 CG Chin (underhand) BW * 12, 10 * 3

Had a suprising amount of DOMS still from friday which probably didn't help, but mostly i think the break + food poisoning + losing a stone in weight (due to food poisoning 1/2 stone regained now) meant i was always going to be weaker. I really hate the way months or even years of progress is so easily lost in weeks. Still, no place else to go apart from forwards again. I don't know why i thought WG chins were today, will do them again next session and then back to normal next week.

Weights were down today but not overly so, give it 2 weeks and I might be back to previous level.

Todays session was okay apart from the misloading the bar for bench, squats were tough but done so up weight again next week.
