Why I love SD
-
16 January 2008 21:12
Hello all, Not been posting much in the last week or so due to exams etc.. Still been training hard though, just wanted to say I am loving Genetic Edge SD... From personal experience, this has been more effective than a Dbol course I ran a couple of years ago, and it's not even been 3 weeks. Whilst working shoulders today, I was doing DB OH Press - Bearing in mind I have been rehabbing a fairly serious shoulder injury since early November...Usually on a good day I can rep for 8 at 30kg for 3 sets. Today after warming up I was feeling good so I went for the 30kg bells, hoisted up, then put them back down because I thought I had picked up the wrong weights.. Anyway, long story short I ended up repping with the 40kgs... My workout partner immediately asked me what steroids I was taking, and where he could get them! Anyway, not sure if this is the appropriate forum for this, didn't want to be boasting but I just wanted everyone to know that SD has been more than I thought it would be. Cheers all, Loaf

Glad to hear of your gains mate! I too absolutely love SD. I use a hammer smith machine and go up to 90kgs on it, so only manage up to 35kg on the db's but 40s are great!
Having a baby girl :)

I've done almost every steroid known to man. OTC orals/BM orals and injectibles and there's no doubting Superdrol and it's clones are right up there with anything else including Test by way of gains. In terms of gains and in such a short cycle it's right up there. It is however one of the harshest and it's sides r pretty bad.It f**ks ur lipids to pieces then there's the blood pressure, back pumps, cramps etc.if u can stomach these sides or if ur one of the lucky ones where the sides ain't as bad then SD is a real gem and i'd def recommend people it to people who are considering it as a 1st cycle.

Push_Beyond_The_Pain - how much strength have you retained from your SD cycles?

I continued to see strength gains into PCT.Then it stagnated week 2 and dipped slightly but tbh if u have ur training nailed, proper PCT and anchillarys in place then u shouldn't lose tht much mass or strength. After PCT was completed on both cycles i had lost maybe 1-2lbs..

just like to say to the guy lfiting 40's for his shoulder press, be careful mate! im on SD currently (its mint!) i had similar experience goin up about 10kgs on front lifts after about 2 days! only prob is i think i pulled sommit, really hurt the next day. the strength comes fast with SD gota watch it especially if your recovering from an injury- would hate to see you get hurt n loose out. although everyone loves liftin heavy (me included) ive jsut had to stop and think before i do so.
Don't stop until you get atleast one more than you originally thought you could achieve...

Yes, wise words to be sure. It's easy to get carried away when your strength shoots up like that.

ha cheers dan yeah, I should probably watch that one. It's hard to resist going big though! Back and traps today, saw a similar improvement, especially in my deadlift. What was also really nice was that my grip seems to have strengthened as well, as I usually find with deads that my grip will give out before my back. No such problems today. Still would be interested to hear about the lipids, if anyone has any info there...

Good to here how good SD is as i have 2 bottles. How are people cycling yer know what breaks are you having in between cycles? time off = time on+ PCT 3 weeks of SD is a usual cycle, followed by 3 weeks of PCT....therefore a minimum break of 6 weeks

ORIGINAL: TLoaf Still would be interested to hear about the lipids, if anyone has any info there... Using a supp like red yeast rice should help keep ldl cholesterol levels down. Unfortunately it also reduces hdl so you need to keep you healthy fats fairly high. I use 10g fish oil every day and add olive oil to my shakes to help with this. It should return to normal after a while but you will only know by getting bloodwok done.

What did you think of M1T compared mate in terms of gains/strength and how much is kept after PCT? I like M1T never tried Sdrol

Genetic SD has 10mg per cap. As do most of them. Some have 12mg per cap.
