Ok guys did this on another forum and it was pretty fun (different weight of course). Anyone want to have a friendly competition to reach the big 6 plate deadlift? If you are in just add your name to the list so we can all push each other!

per side. If you want we can do a bunch of different weights to get more people in on it like 4 plates, 5 plates, 6 plates.

Only did 4 this week mate, well got to 190 actually, so you'd have a hard time losing against me but good luck with it bud.

Edit.
Just seen your post above, how long are you expecting to take to get to 6? Id be interested in a 5 challenge but it could take me a long time...

Why not, I cracked 4 plates a while ago but haven't deadlifted much recently.

I probably won't gain much at all until my next cycle, then BOOM! 220kg

I'm in. Did it a couple of years back, not been near it since, but progress is being made now.

ken, if you want to make it an age thing, so i will deadlift 300 whilst im younger than you

so if you do it on your 20th birthday,i have to do it before to win, and therefore be champion

282.5.

You have to say if it would pass or fail in a comp. It doesn't really matter, if it's up, it's up. But there are brownie points for lifts that would pass in a comp.
