Pretty good pressing session since I havent pressed in a good couple of weeks. 31/3/08 Rack Jerks- 70/5, 100/3, 120/1, 135/f Waited with the 135 too long at the shoulders and messed it up because of this. Bench- 70/8, 100/5, 110/3, 100/6 CG Bench- 90/5/7 Tri Circuit- {10 dips; 10 75kg straight bar PDs; 10 55kg rope PDs} DONE TWICE, NO REST

Back up home in Aberdeen for the spring break so training at Results. Hack squat/ leg press machine was broken so just did some smith squats, leg ext, calves and then some cardion stuff. 4/4/08 Smith Squat- 50/5, 100/5, 140/3, 180/2, 220/2, 250/1, 260/f Wraps on for the 220 and 250 set, all reps below parallel coming to a stop at the bottom when the bar hit the stops. Felt so much heavier that the cage squat though. I like it! :D Leg Ext- 45/10, 65/10/10/20 Calves- Didnt count the weight, but I reckon around 180kg, two sets of 10 Cardio- 100kg sled drag/60m, 30m

Not updated this for a few days. Heres what Ive been doing: Sunday Events Log Press- 90/3/3, 100/1 Elbows were killing me for some reason, think its because of the wider handles and not being used to them Medley- 70kg anval 10m; 120kg keg 10m [bearhugged for the first set then carried normally for the second]; 130kg farmer 10m; 100kg chain carried 10m and tried to simulate a load with it Monday Gym Log Press- 90/3, 100/3, 110/clean Since the log was crap on Sunday I thought Id give it another go, plus gym was really busy with no space to do jerks. Same happen as Sunday with the elbows and this really affected my pressing for the rest of the workout Incline Smith Press- 60/8, 90/6/6/6 Sled Drag Front Raises- 20/12, 40/12/12/12/12 Tuesday Gym Trained today since Im away for a few days, plent of rest and food before the gym again on Friday Axel Deadlifts- 85/5, 125/5, 165/3, 205/2, 245/1 PB, 265/1 PB SLDL- 140/6/6/6 Pulldowns- 50/8, 70/8, 80/8 Hammer Curls- 20/8, 30/8

You should venture in more often mate! I canhed from doing deads on Monday, press on Wednesday and squats Friday to press, deads, squats on Monday Wednesday and Friday since I felt like my back was getting over worked deading the day after events.

I hear ya, i like the new upper, lower, upper, lower(events). Funnily enough i can't wait until this next comp is done so i can relax for a little bit, grow, and hit some new prs. I want a 6plate squat by the end of summer.

Pretty good session today, think I might have some tendonitis in my elbows so just taking ibuprofen and deep heat/ deep freezeing the joints. 13/4/08 Medley- 70kg Anvil carried 10m and loaded to 46", 120kg carried 10m loaded to 46", 130kg farmer carried 3m[plates fell off the ends], 100kg chain carried 10m and almost loaded to 46" Chain didnt have enough links to get a good grip on it, but the medley at the finals shouldnt really be a problem. Fitness is up a hell of a lot since Feburary! Farmers Holds- 130/5s/20s This tenonitis is really pissing me off. I feel great until i start lifting and then a couple of hours after the session Im great again. Just hope it clears up before the finals, if not its just going to be a case of working through it!
