None from our gym doing it - too early in the calendar.
But we have a few doing the Mr Lincs show the month after.

I'm going to enter the bench 80kg for reps comp though. Can do 30-odd with 100kg, so we'll see how many at 80kg will go up with a few month's practice.

I believe that around the 55 rep mark is somewhere to aim for.

Based on James post saying "Bench press max reps with 80kg" ...i should imagine that will be the total weight with bar included!?

One of our Polish guys is taking this challenge very seriously.
He's dropped his normal bench routine in favour of 80kg bench for reps and has done for weeks now.
Think he's up somewhere around 60 reps at the mo.

Sounds promising then! .....i'm sure that 55 reps was mentioned as a bit of a top line area!

Only if you have a Polish swear word filter on your equipment, Eric.
He's, er, loud to say the least.

Juniors have been added now - due to demad.

There have been about 25 forms in from contestant - sure some will drop out, and others will jump in at the last minute - so I guess about 25 in total.

With the bench press comp, I'd guess 2-3 hours or so.

A local small show, but should be good fun and there are some very good physiques attending by any standards
