I well thought you two would stay out of each other's journals Can't wait til the day when one posts their diet and the other pipes up and says "But what about when you ate so-and-so...?" CLASSIC

Flick your so right, we kinda stay out of each others journals. I don't want to accidently say "how many bowls of porridge are there on your diet plan hun?"....or "what about the pop-corn the other night?"
We want to avoid situations like that so we tend to read each others journals rather than post in them...it could get nasty!

ok heres what i do, they dont taste EXACTLY the same but its close i find

all you do is take 50g of chocolate nutrisport 90+
50g of oats and grind them to a powder either in a blender or in a coffee grinder
1/4 tsp Xanthan Gum
water

Basically add in the 90+ then the oats, add in your water and start to blend, while its blending add in the Xanthan Gum, careful not to overdo it as its a potent thickener (its a natural fibre), pour out into your shaker and enjoy

I find it goes great with a few splenda tablets to sweeten it up a bit as the 90+ isnt the most chocolately tasting stuff out there

edit: if you want to go for taste then may i suggest you get a tub of Boditronics Express Whey which is Whey+Casein like the 90+ but the taste is absolutely unbeatable,

Link to the Express Whey

no DOMS. I swear...! I will have to work much harder next time

NUTRITION
6:00 - 30g whey in water

12:30 - 120g chicken in a wholemeal bap with plenty of salad and an apple.

I have been walking up and down the stairs entering and exiting the car without so much as a twinge to indicate muscle breakdown in my legs. Both quads and hams are fine with yesterdays punishment. Now I have to wait a week for amother chance to break these badboys down

Oh year, I boaught M&F magazine today. I have not read this for a long time and it is a real treat; glossy pics etc yeah really good bit of relevant junk.

Respect to you S41N7 for teaching. One of my best freinds teaches art to 12-16 year olds in brighton and listening to some of her stories its no easy ride.
Also fair play at having a bash at a comp.My freind i used to work with at my old gym workplace prepped for a natural comp...i used to help her with posing etc, not that i know much about it but have an eye for asthetics. In the end a culmenation of factors let her down but boy did she put in some hard graft to get there.
All the best with that geezer.

Nice to hear fron you stef. Teaching can often be challaging but is internally rewarding (for now). Never tried for a comp before and have alot of training to do. I just feel that when I get on stage I will be the most inferior person in the line up . But hey, im not gonna let that get me down I will use theis knowledge as a driving force to push meself harder. At the moment I am at FitnessFirst but will transfer to Emporioum (a bodybuilders gym a few miles from me).

It was really nice meeting the MT members yeterday, particularly ElfinTan, Nigel, Flick, Kitty, OldGit, TicTeaser and the rest. A very nice bunch of people (as always I was a little introverted at first , Dont think I really spoke to you Flick ) Now that I have had time to reflect on yetardays meet I have been armed with some strong advice and will followup on all of them:
1) Go to a bodybuilders Gym
2) work on my mindset
3) continue reps to failure and not to a set ammount
4) work weights at a high intesity level sooner, rather than later on in my workout.

NUTRITION
8:30 - 30g whey in water
9:00 - 60g oats in skimmed milk, 1 tsp sugar and 200ml of fresh fruit juice
11:30 - jacket potato and 200g cottage cheese
4:00 - half of a jamaican sweet bread type thing (@ mothers on mothersday and failed to prepare)
6:30 - 120g chicken, raw spinnach leaves and mixed peppers and onion.
9:30 - 30g whey in skimmed milk

MISC:
4 oatcakes
1 pkt chewing gum
1 cup of black coffee
1 chip (off kids plate)
