Wat FF do you use, i used to work for them.Don't go thinking youll be inferior before youve seen the competition.Thing is with comps, wat ive learned from watching people prep and go in for them is the beleif in yourself. If your proud of your acheivements and are willing to show them off that makes you the winner already.

Thanks theiopener, I need all the luck I can get. @ stef, oh FF. OK, I go to the one in Mere Green Sutton Coldfield. Will be handing in my notice there though. I went to emporium today, had a decent workout. Lots of equiptment and weights . Spoke to one of the guys behind the desk about doing a comp, explained I want to do a natural and he was not keen after hearing that. (have you been to a natural comp? They have great condition, they dont have that much muscle etc.) Spoke to another and he was more helpful and I have an appointment this sunday. He wants writtten evidence of my training and a copy of the plan james has given me. I explained that the plain was to establish a base and he understands I will be seeing James soon but insists on seeing it. I hope he is not trying to dismiss James work as this will put a real bad taste in my mouth in regards to emporium. quote:

Wassup Jay, training is in need of objective scrutiny and the nutrition plan is going quite well (now that there is no more alcohol. tiped it down the sink in a ceremonial "I will do as James says"). Rreally is too early to tell how the prep is going but James will tell me whats, what next Sunday. quote:

If that guy at the gym is gonna help ya its understandable he will want to see your diet plan. Its more than likely he dont know james so will want to scutinize the plan but most contest preps are pretty much along the same lines with just individual tweaks in how they do things and its as much you learning wat works for you as it is following someones plan by the letter. For example different people react differently to all the required stimuli ie sodium water, carb depletion blah blah. Is this place a bodybuilding gym then...if so wats the standard of equipment/ state of repair of machines etc.

Too-true Kitty. I got a bad vibe from him; he came across as the I know everything about everyting and will endevour to prove everyting you know or are going to know as wrong unless I taught it to you and what I teach you will be difficult for you to grasp with your mortal brain type of person . So where am I and what is my mindset? - I know I have alot of work to do amd the odds are piled against me. However I will do my best and will step on stage in some type of condition. I am not concearned with being the biggest and with only four years training under my belt, I am unlikley to be the best. But I will be the best I have ever been.
