Practise swim on Monday with kids while they had their lessons.
Took floats and tried concentrating on breathing and arms. I have to say I quite enjoyed it on my own pootling up and down. Even managed 4 lengths in one go! Hoorah
Legs felt very heavy though, had a spinning class on Monday too so didn't want to work the legs too much.

Tuesday had a boxercise class which involved alot of ab work which always makes me feel better about things.

Wednesday had last swimming lesson. Decided that I really don't like the lessons maybe because they bring back horrid memories of lessons at school or maybe I don't like being shouted at my a 20 something who assumes that because I'm not doing what she has asked I'm being lazy! Actually swore at her on Wed
I hope to continue with the swimming style practise on my own.

Thursday went to gym:

Leg Ext: 52kg 3x10
Leg Curl: 39kg 3x8 43kg 1x6
Calf Raise on Leg Press: 240lb 3x20
WGC: Assist 15 3x8
DB PUllover: 15kg 3x8
SA Row: 15kg 1x10 22.5kg 3x8
Lunges: 15kg 3x10 (each leg)
Biceps: 25kg 1x8 asst 20kg 3x8
Weighted ABs to finish.

Change of routine next week.

Puss, don't know why but all swimming instructors are the same! I think it is the chlorine or something that makes them really nasty to their pupils.......flashback to boarding school swimming lessons in outdoor pool in middle of February......not nice!

Yeah must be part of the job description! It's a shame really I could have got so much more out of the lessons if she had been encouraging and actually spent some time on technique. Instead she just told us how to do something once (from the side of the pool) then let us get on with it. And then shouted if you struggled!
Nevermind.

PiB

I don't train at a proper gym! It has a small area for free weights.
There's lots of ladies but hardly any come into the free weights bits. Not many men either, lots of boys if you know what I mean

Now that DOES sound pervy!

Rest day Friday. Saturday went to indoor climbing wall for Miss PiB Birthday Party.

Sunday home session;
Apparently it's been discussed that I may be doing a power lifting comp later in the year. This is of course news to me but hey ho and also explains the following session given to me by my trainer today.

Squats: 20kg 1x12/ 30kg 1x10/ 40kg 1x8/ 50kg 1x8/ 60kg 3x6
Deads: 40kg 1x10/ 50kg 1x8/ 60kg 3x6
Flat Bench: 20kg 1x12/ 30kg 1x10/ 40kg 1x8/ 45kg 3x4

Hard session resulting in jelly like legs. Mmm should be fun tomorrow at my spinning class.

Very possibly

To be honest I'm not sure I'll make it up the steps to the gym!

Ah well could be entertaining for any on lookers.
