Im aiming for a 2/3 lbs a week. I think that will be possible now as im starting back training and cardio this week so im hoping as long as I stay pretty strict then it wont be a problem.
Hyperextended my elbow a little Saturday sore as hell but nothing bad, im hoping it wont affect my training this week.

Well we're in the unfortunate place of 3rd bottom and playing 2nd bottom tomorrow with the loser getting relegated

I was thinking about doing a Journal, will see how it goes at first as working nights might throw things all over the place

Sorry Samcim as of last Friday I was not likeing what I saw in the mirror and although my diet was good I had definatley put on a couple of pounds. I decided to cut the carbs down to around the 250g mark and ive kept my diet clean aswell.
Allthough it is not ideal here is my diet below, it is missing alot of macronutriants as pointed out before im only going to be following it for a couple of weeks untill I shed a bit of unwanted weight. Then I will be able to go back on my previous diet as carbs wont matter as much because ill be back doing cardio.

Breakfast
80g Oats
3 Egg Whites 1 Yolk
Pint Of Milk

10am+1pm+4pm
30/40g Wholemeal Rice
100g Chicken

Gym-5.30pm

PWO Shake C60g P30g

7pm
150g Chicken

9pm
Protein Shake

I normally get another protein shake in there somwhere some times morning before brekfast. Also BCAA and omega 3 supp.

I then have a kind of refeed/carb load on Fridays (Today woohoo bring on the bacon, saus and egg roll) ready for the game Sat.

I know what you mean with the journal being all over the place as is mine as you can see due to injurys.

Big game to say the least then! What position do you play?

I love pre-season and look forward to it from about Jan lol. Its the only time you can concentrate on your training and make any real progress.

I started back Sat with a game and Tuesday, Thursday rugby training. The only time that I get hungry is in between 4pm meal and rugby training at 7pm so I try to eat the 4pm around 4.30 and ill try and get something a little sugary down me about 6.30pm.
Going to try and start some fasted steady state cardio next Monday and Wednesday depends how I feel as ive only just started back.

Dont have something sugary brfore workout mate, you might crash if you do ( low blood sugar, feeling weak) Try to have slow releasing carbs before your rugby. Say 6pm-6.25pm have a meal here, just a small one, say 300-400 cals. With protein, fats and slow carbs.

Also mate, with your chicken & rice, I would add some fats in there too, Also your 7pm meal, you need veg and fats here mate. Whats in your shake at 10pm? TBH that diet isnt the best mate.
