@myprotein:
... I would happily buy a 500ml or 1000ml bottle if the price was appealing (I don’t if it’s possible, but something like 8£ per 500ml or 15£ per 1000ml)

By the way, does this product have to be stored at any special conditions? It’s necessary to put it in the refrigerator? Can it be stored in a dry dark place with a normal temperature (10-15 degrees)? How many days can it be stored, after opening? Does the product lose quality after some time?

Can you please answer to this questions?
Thank you very much!

Mp are a good company with a great selection of products. However i'd agree somewhat with dyonisian's comments regarding their price-match

In Jan-Feb time adonis-nutrition were having a sale. They had 5kg of WPC80 for a few pennies under £30. I Asked MP to price match as i needed a few other things that Adonis did not sell. Their response;

"Hi,

Thanks for the e-mail. Unfortunately, our pricematch promise is only available for regular prices and not special offers. Also these items are subject to availability and could be a limited stock. We feel that our excellent customer service and our ISO accreditation makes us the market leader in bulk nutrition supplies and we also feel our array of products makes it more cost effective to buy all your supplements from one place. Keeping our prices consistently low is also one of our many aims.

Thanks"

Just to clarify......the product was in stock at adnonis'

Hi,

It does state on our price match T&C's we reserve the right to exclusive special offers. This is normal practise with "price matching". As with regards to the above deal this was in our view a "loss leader" to gain custom from their competitors. Full details are below:

http://www.myprotein.co.uk/?page=faqs#21

If anyone has any further questions please email or call us as this is going off topic in this thread.

Fair enough MP as soon as you make very clear how your pricematch works. I didn't read all the faqs and from your website it appeared you were ready to pricematch pretty anything. Also consider that some companies PRETEND to sell some products as part of a sale while they just keep the price reduction throughout the year.

I also love MP and would like to buy everything from them but sometimes is simply not possible, Adonis and others offer better prices on some product although they have limited selection.

I think we are actually complimenting MP and pushing them to find solutions to become an undisputed leader on the supplements market.

Without knocking either company Adonis have had stock availability issues on some items and the argument regarding the whole price matching issue has been brought up before (feel free to do a search and see the results).

If a company is asked to price match it seems to make sense that the rival should have the item in stock else company a) is price matching a product which does not actually exist at that price - does it not? I do agree with the sentiments regarding asking companies to set a low price over price matching but that is for them to decide.

F.A.O. Mobster,

We are a little confused with the point you have tried to make above, it reads as if you are suggesting that we are offering low prices to customer because we have no intention of selling at those prices, nor do we have any stock available at those prices?

The price and products mentioned above have been part of our January sales which was extended and have been available for 8-10 weeks now, and those products that have inevitably ran out, were available for several weeks.

Best Regards,

Adonis Nutrition

Hi CoNs!

Do you recommend the ZipVit Omega Juice? Do you think it has good quality?
Does it have to be stored with any special cares?

How do you store it?

Thanks !!

Hi mate

it doesn't specify conditions to keep it in, i personally will be keeping it in the fridge,

Taste wise, the rasperry doesnt completely mask the fishy after taste, which doesnt bother me too much, but it does make it a bit more palatable. defo isnt a big concern

Price wise, i think its impossible to beat 2 bottles of 360ml = 720ml for £12.98

Still, it seem a bit weird to me that one could only match the same size and even bottle type...anyway, zipvit remains obviously the cheapest solution.

Doesnt to me

Would a car dealer price match a Saxo with a Focus just because theyre both cars?

basically, zipvit have phenominal costs.

this is because they sell massive quantities of fish oil.

they are probably one of the largest privately held mail order/online order vitamin (note: "vitamin" not "sports supplement") companies in the country, and will be selling miles more fish oil than MP. Hence, their cost prices are lower.

no one should be asking a company to price match products that would mean they made losses or poor profits. MP like everyone else who works, is doing it to earn money. Bottom line.

Fair enough but read this:

Request a Price Match

If you want us to match a European price that isn't listed then please contact us with the following details and we will add it right away!

# The direct link to the product\ingredient. (i.e. www.amazon.co.uk/whey-protein.htm)
# The price of the product. (i.e. £ 14.99)

Then when you write them you will be asked to read the FAQS to see the conditions which are quite restrictive.

Other companies like Adonis or All-in1 just make cheap prices and don't use price match to attract customers. Why the conditions do not appear on the main price match page?

Hi,

We don't match it for the reasons mentioned further up the thread (different product). We don't pick and choose what we match\beat, if its the same we will beat it even if its at a loss!

The reason the T&C's wasn't added was an oversight. We have now added a link to the T&C's to the OPM page.

Thanks! :)

Hi,

Just to let you know, as promised, the 500ml size of our Omega-3 Liquid (strawberry) has now been added to the site for a Euro low price of £7.49/500ml. This is cheaper than ZipVit's offering mentioned above, so a great way to consume high amounts of high quality EU fish oil (high epa\dha).

http://www.myprotein.co.uk/capsules-tablets-softgels/omega-3-and-fish-oils/omega-3-liquid-(strawberry)/

This is delivered in a very strong amber brown bottle with screw top lid (we don't use glass for this size due to breakages).

It will be available to buy from early next week.
