lol didnt realise it had become such a topic for discussion, in Eds words "im shifting some decent weight but im not going deep enough"... plan of attack is to do box squats and work on my full ROM then build the weight up again.
Titch-you will get the video before long mate... but i wont force you to eat humble pie lol .

anyways sorry to barge in on your journal TIO.

I am not a prolific forum poster to be honest. 850 odd posts in 6 and a half years on here sums me up. If I start a journal it would be on here though. Some of my training vids, almost all bench I think, are here:

Vids

Cheers for taking the heat off of me J

In J's defence i am aware he has a medical issue that affects his knee so i am unaware as to whether this affects his ROM and his flexibility. Time shall tell though. He still kicks my arse when it comes to sheer endurance and lactic threshold

thanks JB i shall have a look, im off now to go veggie shopping

Keeping my eye out for an update on AJs session. From what I can glean, he managed a lot of partial reps with a decent weight. Interesting.

Being a doubting Thomas, I too am champing at the bit to see this vid.

Hurry up Eddie - get it uploaded!!!!!

I am not going to be a c0ck about this AJ, but they start off really high, and just get higher. Not one of them is anywhere near any type of depth.

I'm sure there is a benefit from 20 rep partial squats. Whether a lighter weight for less reps but more depth would be more productive for growth, who knows?

Nice work on yours Eddie. I presume this is a one off now you're looking for strength now rather than size?

Not as such mate, you cant have strength with little size, they do go hand in hand. I just find part of my body dont grow well yet i have massive strength increases. When i get my knee wraps and i aint low carbing i could probly rep 140 with relative ease

I couldve done 110kg for the 20 reppers but that wouldve taken me close to 8-9 minutes with me collapsing afterwards

I know this though, i need size on my shoulders and tris and my chest to bring up my bench, its pathetic

preview of my diet for everyone here, this is my custom UD2

250g turkey breast
veggies (some carrots for a small measure of carbs and other fibrous veggies)

train!

300g beef
veggies

250g turkey
veggies

2 scoops 90+
8 efa caps

bed

this is second day of carb depletion and im feeling it big style! Ive also had quite a few water based hot chocolates with sweetener and a few iced coffees to combat the heat
