Well Monday is gone and I've calculated yesterdays food intake at www.fitday.com
I ate proteinshakes, tuna, pasta, carrot, seeds, cottage cheese, porridge, milk, and one bite of marzipan(couldn't resist)...

All in all I consume a total of 1954 kcal, of which
67 grams was fat (31%)
142 grams Carbs (28%)
192 grams Protein (40%)

Quiet good I think to be the first day on the diet I think :)

Monday I worked chest and biceps and did 28 min on the treadmill.
My knee isn't feeling too good and I had to stop...

been swimming this morning. 20 laps :)
Did Legs in the evening after Spinning.

Went great! I'm surprised over the progress already.
BB weight is not added in to calculations.

Squats: 20kgx20 (too easy), 30kgx15, 50kgx10, 60kgx8/7 (Heavy) - 2 weeks ago I could only do 8 reps at 40kg :)

Deads: 20kg x ?, 30kgx10x2, 40kgx5
I think my are grip is too weak I struggle to hold the bar up when I do the lifts. I also think I am lifting wrong. every week I am left with a stiff lower back.

Lunges: DB12,5kg x 10x3
Hate hate hate lunges. It's boring boring boring!!

Legpress: 100kgx10(strangly enough it wasn't a problem), did 7 reps, 8 reps and 6 reps (Think I'll add on more weights next time :)

Legextension: 17,5kgx10 and 8

Leg Curl: 10kgx10, 17,5kgx6
Last one was done poorly. think it was a bit too heavy. cheated on the lift

Yesterday I ate lunch with my pals. Think I had too many carbs in yesterday, but I also did spinning and was fairly active compared to normal.

Total food consumption:

1698kcal
46 grams Fat: 25%
173 grams Carbs 39%
149 grams Protein 36%

Looks like you're determined...

I'd say your calorie intake was too low for this juncture, presumably you're trying to gain muscle? If so, you'd be best upping your calories, to give your bod a chance to gain some muscle... Just as an indication, I'm 5'4, weighed 64kgs off-season and was eating about 2500 cals a day and gaining about 1lb of muscle a fortnight I'd think... Now I'm dieting I'm only down to 2000cals at the moment...

As Kitty said, don't get too anal at this juncture, plenty of time for that later, just get in plenty of complex carbs, protein and healthy fats. Still allow yourself treats, and don't deny yourself when you want something.

With regards to the rotuine, weights look good, I'd think you're a slight exercise-a-holic though! You don't have to do that much cardio, unless you are one of the lucky few who LOVE IT!

Either way, good luck, I think you've identified exactly what you need to do and how, you remind me a lot of someone I used to know when she first started bodybuilding

hehe... I think about that everytime I have myself a chocolate!
Thing is with me is that I am sooo weak and do not know how to say "No Thank you". I manage to stick to the diet for 2-3 days and than I can't resist it anymore and I eat anything I can find.

I am thinking my diet might have too little kcal in it. I am thinking about food all the time so it must mean I'm not getting enough.

I'm doing research on the different types of fats and karbs and i feel my body is working well on a low carb/high fat, however I must learn more about the right type.

Getting my workout done is my main focus. Not sure if I'm building it up right though. I rarely sweat at all when lifting and I'm always finished before the hour has gone.

I'm awat to Australia on Thursday for two weeks so probably wont get alot of weight lifting done than...

been working yesterday and today doing a sleep in. So knackered today that no workout is tempting. I'm supposed to have a Spinning class today but got a migrene and sore throat. I bet I'll get ill before or while i'm on holiday.

Didn't do any workout yesterday and feeling too rough today. When I think about it this happened the last time I started working out more and harder with weights. I'm normally never ill, but it feel like my immune system is weakened from the extra stress i'm putting on my body. I worked heavy with the weights last fall and often caught the cold. I had a break from lifting from december time until March, and now I'm ill again. I'm wondering if it's only a co-incident or a link to it....

Oh Lordy good luck at T5!!

Have a fab time in Oz and don't worry too much about your eating while you're away - you're on holiday, after all! You could class at as a nice send off before coming home and really getting stuck into the diet.

Got home yesterday from Australia and are soooo jetlagged. Have been up since 430 this morning!
The positive thing about it is that I'm way ahead of myself with all my paperwork, house chores and online updates
It's not even 730am yet and I got it all out of the way. hurray!!
I also got to see the monster of a pickup my boyfriend has bought while i was away! I think I might need a ladder to climb into it. Can't wait to give it a test drive wohoo!!

I jumped on the scale this morning and the result from wining and dining in fine restaurants for 10 days in the southern hemispheres aren't as bad as I thought they would be. I'm catching up with friends this weekend and on Monday its back to normality again.

I'm booking an appointment with my personal trainer today, so I can get some help in setting up some reasonable time frames for goal settings and training programs. She's gonna do some basic tests on me to identify my fitness level at this moment in time, and I am will keep my focus on my diet and make sure I'm getting enough nutrition.

Welcome back Elsa. You don't go on holiday to watch the lbs so whatever you have put on just enjoy the memory rather than the consequences.

Have fun with your trainer

Didn't even give it one thought! Australian food is fantastic, that's all I have to say! Wish I could eat at restaurants every day
