Ok Im doing a journal.
Where to start? Well I am planning on doing the BNBF Central (figure) which is in 17 weeks time. SO from Tuesday I am dieting...ahhh!
I started back training in August 06 when my youngest was 3 months old, ended up going overboard on the weight loss, fulled by post natal depression and 4 weeks on anti depressants which dropped my weight down to a skinny 8stone 7 last summer. I have since gained and am weighing in at 9st4 and am hopefull that a good bit of the weight gain has been muscle (at this weight I can see abs and at my skinny weight I couldnt hence being hopefull!)
My training is a bit erratic having 2 small kids and a partner who works shifts but I do a three day split
back and shoulders, legs, chest and arms then I do an abs class and sometimes yoga, have just started adding in some cardio on the cross trainer but need to get a bit more in.

Diet: This is were I slip up!
6.30 whey in water +lglutamine/ creatine/ bcaa
7.30 1 weetabix 100ml milk
200ml egg whites

10.00 Quark (1/2 tub) with apple sauce

1.00 either a protein bar if I am lazy or a bean wrap or pasta and feta from m&S van or if organised quinoa and tuna or a sweet potato with cottage cheese (sometimes I have this for dinner to)

3.30 snack a banana or handfull of nuts or slice of toast or sometimes yesterdays dinner leftovers = Im allways hungry here (think its the stress of having to pick the kids up!)

5.00 dinner if Im not training then I try to avoid carbs at dinner although being vegetarian (except from fish but not often) a lot of things have carbs anyway I usualy have vegi burgers or sausages with vegetables or will make something with vegi mince or TVP with a tin of tomatoes and whatever vegis I have and chuck it all in the oven. If training I will add some rice/pasta/quinoa

I tend to train late evening around 8 so will have whey in water with creatine before. I think I need carbs here to as I have been getting the shakes in the gym and end up having to get a powerade although this usualyhappens if I havent had enough carbs with dinner.

milk and whey when I get home/ before bed.

I will sort out some pics as they are easy to upload now on this computer, just lack anyone with adequate photography skills to take them!

So today... going to drop the kids round to my mums and then go and train legs and do 20 minuites on the cross trainer (if I can still stand!)

Oh and I got some more shoes!

Up a bit with the camera!

I was supprised he managed to get both my feet in never mind anything else! (5 year old photogropher!)

Yes Tic= there were dead lifts today of the straight leg variety and 40kg instead of my previous 25, realised I could lift heavier, I tend to push myself with machines but I guess with free weights I have been holding back a bit.

so legs were
SL Dead lift 4 x 10
leg press 4x 12 at 120 then 6reps at 130 (thought I was going to be sick!)
calf raises (on leg press 3 sets to failure @120)
leg extensions 4 x 15 (I do them with feet forward/turned out/turned in 5 reps each which Nicole Pitcher Scott does on her DVD, they realy burn by the end!)
also did 50 reps on the abductor(? the one were you squeeze your legs together) while I was waiting for a leg press to be free)
was going to do some cardio but did 5 minuites and had the shakes (hadnt eating enough before going with getting the kids organised and round to my mums) so ended up having a tuna melt from subway after.
My eating hasnt been great today as this afternoon had to go to my partners Mums birthday tea which was a carb frenzy although I didn't go overboard I did have a slice of pizza and some cibatta and couscous....and Nixie gave me her cornflake cake but she had sucked most the chocolate off first!

Ok so diet starts today instead

weighing in at 9stone 5 after the weekend chocolate however I beleive I am now psychologicaly prepared and have the memory of the last cream egg to see me through the darkest days!

Not been well over the weekend with a sinus/chest nasty thing, could do with a day in bed but not allowed sick days, (exceeded the limit!) so not done anything since Friday with the exception of 3 sets of tricep dips last night.

Will train chest and biceps tonight as will have to train at home when the kids are in bed. My partners on lates this week and its Ozzys (my eldests) birthday on Thursday so have to work out around everyones schedules. I would usualy put them in the creche today but I think my Dad is taking Oz to see Horton hears a who and I wouldnt want to put Nix in on her own as usualy theres just the 2 of them in there on a Tuesday!

Diet plan
6.00whey in water (Lglutamine BCAA) coffee
7.00 2 eggs scrambled slice toast
10.00 whey/milk/fruit smoothie
1.00 sweet potato and cottage cheese
4.30 tuna quinoa and veg
8.00 pre work out whey, creatine and juice
9.00 post work out whey in milk

Hey Jess, good to have you on board at last!

I posed with Jess a few weeks ago at Monster. She has a great shape and muscle mass and I'm sure will do very well at whatever she sets her mind to, good luck

June/July= big brother

Thanks Flick, worried I dont have enough size to be honest looking at that photo but Im going to blame the lighting and keep going!
Done ok with my diet today although a few of Nixies crisps got in my mouth as we went round Asda. Im not training today as my chest feels tight and I dont want to make myself worse so going to dose myself up on cough medicine and get an early night. Will book the kids into the creche for after school tomorrow then no excuses.

Hi there, i find that if i train when i'm not feeling well 9 cold, cough etc) it takes longer in the end to get rid of so you end up loosing out on more training days. Take it easy.
