Still feel like crap, wake up in the morning and its something else. Woke up in the night and had to take codeine as I had no other pain killers and my ears felt like they were going to explode, now its just a constantly running nose so likely be blocked sinuses tomorow! So no training and struggling to eat, had tuna and rice for lunch yesterday and it ended up lasting me all day, think it was 4 goes at it! We had a party tea for Oz and I did have a slice of pizza and a small piece of cake....strange how you can manage to eat that when you cant do tuna and brown rice Have had coffee and half a piece of toast best make myself some eggs and get to work, not allowed sick time as ive had to much so Im going and spreading my virus to everyone else. Ozzy is going tabogoning with my sister this afternoon and Nixie is booked into creche at the gym anyway so Im thinking I will go and do an easy half an hour on the cross trainer so at least I feel Ive done something this week.

did 20 minuites on the cross trainer then a 20 minuite uphill walk on the treadmill watching the kids out on the snow slope, they had a much harder time than me, especialy my sister who was having to practicaly drag the two kids back to the top as they kept falling on there faces Sitting here enjoying a tub of quark with a spoonfull of nesquick! cant manage to make anything more substantial. Will have half an hour in the morning during swimming lessons so trying to think what would be best to do, perhaps some kind of circuit. Forgot to say Chrissie, I got an airbrush tanning machine as my sponge application was no good! Not had a go yet, need to shave my legs first! Thanks Bernie, Im wishing for your arms!

The airbrushing was harder than it looked and am looking worse now than with the sponge! I think I am just not meant to have a tan! Need to practice on someone else but dont think they will be to keen if they see my legs first. Still not well, I sat in the hot tub yesterday and felt better while I was there, unfortunately couldnt stay there all day so came home and spent the rest of the day in bed. A bit better this morning but wont be doing anything more strenuous than a trolly dash round Asda. Down 2lb this week although I think that is easter egg loss and not being well rather than anything I can take credit for, back into it next week although I also have an essay to write so will need some good time management to get it all done, not a strong point! Also looking for a new job as Im sick of mine, had hopes for the spray tanning business but perhaps not! Need something which works round the kids realy, at the minuite I work school hours and thats about the only good thing about my job.

hey honey, just looked at the diet you posted, has anyone spoken to you about it? Are you a vegatarian by any chance? Firstly you should take out the milk everytime you have whey. Whey is meant to be taken with water. Also do you do morning cardio? Is this on an empty stomach or not? The eggs scrambled, is that with milk too? If so I'd advise to cut it out, I'd also up the amount of whites and leave out some of the yolks. I have a 1 yolk to 5 whites ratio. Do you have any healthy fats in your diet? These will help with weight loss as well as keeping your heart healthy. Things like oily fish a few times a week or nuts n seeds, or a tsp extra virgin olive oil. What's Quinoa?? Finally, you really need something more after your postworkout shake. Normally people have their PWO then another meal up to an hour after. This is in your anabolic window and if you don't feed your muscles in this time period they won't grow! Try taking out your whey in the morning and replacing this with fish and green veg. Solid meals tend to be better than liquid ones, also you'll only get hungry, make it a bit easy on yourself! Get well soon

hey honey, just looked at the diet you posted, has anyone spoken to you about it? Are you a vegatarian by any chance? Yes vegi although I do eat fish but only cod and Tuna (which I dont realy like, cant do tuna steaks! ) Firstly you should take out the milk everytime you have whey. Whey is meant to be taken with water.... I only do milk with the bedtime one (slower digesting?) Also do you do morning cardio? Is this on an empty stomach or not?..... Not currently doing AM cardio, not sure what I can do was thinking of one of those trampoline things but would have to have it outside so was waiting till the weather gets a bit better. The eggs scrambled, is that with milk too? If so I'd advise to cut it out, I'd also up the amount of whites and leave out some of the yolks. I have a 1 yolk to 5 whites ratio.... Use liquid egg whites I think 200mls is about 6 sometimes will add in 2 whole eggs for the fats, either scrambled (no milk) with a slice of dry toast or make an omlette (with peppers/ mushrooms) and have 1 weetabix with milk for carbs. Do you have any healthy fats in your diet? These will help with weight loss as well as keeping your heart healthy. Things like oily fish a few times a week or nuts n seeds, or a tsp extra virgin olive oil.... a bit haphazzard again usualy use a bit of olive oil for salad dressing usualy buy a bag on nuts and try to eat them over the week. What's Quinoa??......a grain, like slightly bigger couscous, has quite high protein content Finally, you really need something more after your postworkout shake. Normally people have their PWO then another meal up to an hour after. This is in your anabolic window and if you don't feed your muscles in this time period they won't grow!.......this is were my late gym time is an issue I get in from training then just have my bedtime whey and milk. being more organised I could make extra dinner and keep it till I got in, would I do shake then food or food then my pre bed shake? Try taking out your whey in the morning and replacing this with fish and green veg......Not quite sure where you mean? fish and veg at 6.30 or drop the whey and have this as another meal somewere else?.... Solid meals tend to be better than liquid ones, also you'll only get hungry, make it a bit easy on yourself!

For a.m. cardio you could just go out for a nice walk; so you're a bit out of breath by the time you get back but not so fast a pace that you wouldn't be able to talk to someone with you. It's not the most pleasant thing in the world to be wandering the streets in the cold and dark but I've managed with it so far!

OK will start that tomorrow. Do you do every morning and how long? Its quite nice here today, would have been ok to get out for a walk if I didn't still feel like an elephant was sat on my chest! Taking another day off work, Im going to Argos to get some kitchen scales so I can start weighing my food.

Try to get everything nice and constant. I'd advise working out some food quantities and sticking with them. Then, if you stop losing weight and nee to tweak something, you'll know exactly what you did... I meant take out the first meal you have of whey and coffee(?), and then straight away PWO have your shake which should contain whey and some fast-release carbs, then up to an hour after have a solid meal of carbs and protein. You could have some cottage cheese which is slow-release. Then I'd suggest you wouldn't need a shake pre-bedtime... You might want to check out Liz Kinsella's website, she's the only veggie bb'er I know of... Might give you some ideas Are you feeling better now lovely?
