Once you get a couple of days on track behind you it becomes much easier.

When you mentioned you rushing at the last minute to get your assignment in made me laugh just like me last year i did uni diploma in Business development now was that boring and i was always last minute, but you get there in the end.

Was good once I got there but my shoulders were knackered after my first couple of sets and I had to drop my weight right down thought I would be in severe pain this morning but not yet!
Realy busy in the gym last night and I was getting a bit to much attention doing lat pull downs, not sure why!

Saw my friend Louise on the way out whos Training with Karen Marillier, hadnt seen her for about a month and she is looking huge! looks like she has put a couple of inches on her arms. So Im feeling a bit more motivated now by the changes I still have time to make if I just go all out now.

Legs tonight then and perfect diet, I have made quinoa and chocolate whey "porrige" which I am taking to work- tastes ok at the moment but think it may have dried out into a flap jack by 1.30!

Wait till I'm in condition and wear the skimpy shorts, any man caught looking over my direction gets a moony (almost)

I think it was the view down my top...or else they were seeing what weight I was using.

Lou has been training with Karen since November, has had great results and having not seen her for a while much more noticable.

Legs last night, still not hitting them properly with the sl deads, all in my shoulders and loose my grip before my legs notice anything is going on! back in with 140 on leg press and calf raises so pleased with that but want to realy add to those over the next few weeks.
Fab abs killer butts tonight so that should finnish my legs off!
Feel my weak point is my back although I think its because a)I cant seem to flex it and b)Cant see properly to scrutinise. Another trip to the Next changing rooms I think!
The chocolate quinoa was a winner! Having it again today.
Best get on, need to slap on an inch of make up as I have caught the cyber acne.

When I did my first 3 months with Karen my muscle mass shot up. I gained more last year than in the past 3 years of weight training (I kid you not) Not had huge strength gains but definitely size... She's a miracle worker

Oh Jess, I like your tip about the Next changing rooms! Was wondering how I can practice my back pose whilst being able to check it out!!

Is there a time limit you can stay in these rooms I wonder? Will look mighty suspicious if I am in there for half an hour!

Take the maximum number of items in... then keep shouting the assistant to swap them for different sizes should get a good hour...or perhaps be banned from Next!

been to my class and my legs were screaming! I only just made it down the stairs, just got through by remembering the instructor had run the marathon on Sunday so if she could keep lungeing so could I!

Its Friday!!!!! I have the Friday feeling!
Just weighed myself and am 9 stone 2 so down 3 lb from the start but with being sick and all Im happy with this. Not sure what to do today, I like the legs and abs followed by yoga but thats 5-7 and Jay has been home with Ozzy all week and I think hes getting a bit pissed at me going to the gym so much although (and Im having the day at Monster on Sunday) I let him out last night so he might be in a better mood! My legs have been trained twice this week although it is more pilates so suppose they are being worked differently. otherwise I could wait till Nix is in bed and go and do cardio for an hour as that might be of more use but then I have had a stressfull week and yoga could set me up nicely for the weekend...decisions!

My Mum and sister have hired a sunbed for a month which is arriving today so I will want to go and get a turn on that today as well!
Booked my tickets for Seni next Sunday so excited for that. Leaving Nix with my Mum and bringing Jay and Ozzy so good family time.

Had a good weekend, went down to Monster and got to do posing with Annie, getting a bit better but need to get practicing mainly to get over feeling self concious. Trained chest and triceps and my chest is sore this morning. Going to do a bit more on my arms going forwards to try and hold the size as I diet. Came home with a load of DVDs to watch and sat and watched most of last years routines and the 2006 final (which I placed all wrong!) Interesting to see such a range in size and shape so Im much less worried about were I need to be as there were girls who were realy lean which has put into perspective how much weight I am willing to loose. I dont think I will be going under 8 and a half stone which means I have around 10lb to go (in 14 weeks so should be fine).
Think I will start with legs this week, thinking of training calves twice a week, one heavy low reps and 1 light high reps which I can do on the stairs at home. Also want to up my cardio by adding in a spin class (yes I know people are going to say hours of ss is the way to go but I would rather do this and I dont see anything conclusive saying unfulled steady state is better?)
Need to get going as its back to school today and I dont even know were his uniform is but hoping its clean.

Nicola Burrows won, was surprised that Trudy didnt place. When there was the two of them left I wasn't sure which was going to win, thought perhaps they had marked Nicola down for being overly muscular or something. I only watched the evening routines so plenty more to see.
Just thinking about going to borrow my mums video camera so I can get a good look at myself doing quarter turns, tried using the video on the digital camera but its not great although I got an idea of how Im looking...very pale and in need of a hair cut

Oh yeah! I love Nicola Burrows... If I was taller she'd be my Figure idol for sure... That's totally how I think a Figure girl should look... You thought she was hard and overly muscluar? You should have seen Jo Fairburn the year before...

Oh no. I thought she looked fantastic but I also thought Trudy looked better than some of the other girls so wasnt sure where the judges were going, the one who came 5th looked much to skinny to me realy low body fat and not much size, so I guess Trudy wasnt defined enough (for what they were lookin for).

Was thinking how a few months ago I was seeing figure girls as muscular and now Im starting to think I realy want to be bigger, although then looking at pics from other feds (not tested) they are.

Had a busy weekend, college yesterday and SENI today.
Watched the Fame comp and kind of wished I had gone for it now as I think I would have done quite well bit of a disapointment with the girls but we can only blame ourselves for not entering. Some of the guys were good, in the body building and the model category, we especialy enjoyed the one in the red trunks (who was the body double for Terry Wogan in the advert) although he nearly had someones eye out when he turned suddenly Didnt get to see who won as my son had enough by then although at home he has said he was frightened by the fighting, I think he was just being a pain in the arse. So looking forwards to getting back into the gym next week, watching the super size she documentary for some motivation, and stocked up with vitamins so hopefully I won't get ill again!
