ORIGINAL: jess1eb Had a busy weekend, college yesterday and SENI today. Watched the Fame comp and kind of wished I had gone for it now as I think I would have done quite well bit of a disapointment with the girls but we can only blame ourselves for not entering. Some of the guys were good, in the body building and the model category, we especialy enjoyed the one in the red trunks (who was the body double for Terry Wogan in the advert) although he nearly had someones eye out when he turned suddenly Didnt get to see who won as my son had enough by then although at home he has said he was frightened by the fighting, I think he was just being a pain in the arse. So looking forwards to getting back into the gym next week, watching the super size she documentary for some motivation, and stocked up with vitamins so hopefully I won't get ill again! Lovely too see you yesterday luvvie. My God those red posing trunks!! Gawd knows what he'd stuffed down there but it was entertaining!! I didn't stick around for the end either but I'll be interested to see how they placed everyone as it was a bit of a mad day...

ooh my carves are sore! decided to add in some body weight high reps to kick start them and I think it has worked 2 sets of 25 reps single leg on my stairs then a set of 50 donkey raises (leaning forward on the stairs) and they have done something oweeeee! I am absolutely exahusted at the moment, think the weekend has caught up with me, been asleep from 4 till 7 and probably could have slept through if Jay hadn't put Nixie to bed, couldnt sleep through her shouting at me for long! Just making some dinner then I think I am going to train chest and triceps at home as its pouring down and I dont want to go out! Might have a day off on Friday, have been so busy at work that I haven't used any holiday yet, four months with just a day and a half off when I was sick! Four day weekend sounds bliss, drop the kids to school, head to the gym weights and a class then the sauna perhaps, come home tidy my dump of a house, start my psyc project. I think ive sold that to myself!

cheers Flick! Goes to show how your own judgement is so critical as I have been spending my time nipping the fat on my arms trying to squish it away! Doing a big gym session tonight spin, back, fab abs killer butts class. Get myself going again. Have booked Friday off work and booked into another abs class, Im obsesed that the fat is going to go and leave nothing to show under it! Oh and I have called Chrissie and she is sending me the bikini brocure, so exciting now, Im half decided on colour but no doubt will change my mind when I see what she has. Just to check do most people do 2 bikinis, a plain one for the day and something with bling for the evening? Chrissie, I love reading the journals although I find I havent posted as often as I think I have. Looking and learning now then next year I will be advising everyone else! Photos will be up over the weekend.

Great session last night, hadn't been to spin for ages so took it easy (ish) had time to do some lat pull downs close grip pull downs and bent over rows then into legs and abs, I had to run out halfway through lunges as I had drank so much during spin! Need to start doing abs at home again, I was doing a couple of sets every day but have been lazy and I felt it last night.

yep, think I will go with a plain lycra that will do me for future comps as well and then I dont know what. There is a gold fabric which would match my shoes but everyone has said the darker the better so not sure if thats safe.

Still not decided on the bikinis, I am thinking of doing the NPA south east at the begining of September so I want something I can use for that, they allow thongs but the suit has to be plain one colour. Im sure I read before there was something specific with the shoes (clear 1" platform)but I cant find it on there web site, might have been a completely different federation! Also not sure on the lycra as I imagine it being flimsy and if I get a velvet the extra thickness in the fabric might be more supportive? My back is sore again from sldl I train my back and feel nothing train my legs and my back is knackered! Had a nice day today sorting out my garden and planting up my pots and had a three hour nap! Planning on getting a decent cardio session in first thing tomorrow then going to see my Dads new house and then I have my sisters birthday karaeoke in the pub which I havent thought of a good reason to get out of (yet).

Been a lazy weekend, done nothing, eaten to much crap had a couple of drinks. I have realy let things slip and unless my motivation turns up and gives me a kick up the arse in the next couple of days things are not looking good. Im realy not happy with how my legs are looking, Its not even the chubbiness of them but the lack of size when I see those photos they dont look how I imagine they do! I have the kids booked into the creche tomorrow so I can train early, think it is going to be a tough leg session to get me back on track. My diet needs to get back under control and I need to get out doing my cardio in the mornings.

Hi :) How's it going? Remember that tomorrow is a new day... All is not lost because of one weekend slip. You have gotten this far and will manage the rest as well. Lift heavy and run fast ;-) woop woop
