Thanks for the comments guys. It's always good to get some praise from others. In terms of self appreciation thread in general probably at the end of the nymjam competition and at that point i think we all should do self praise.

Just back at home. Had time to digest interview. I think it went well. Two and half hours of questions so it was difficult to assimilate all in the brain.

The part with human resources guy was a bit tedious as the usual strength and weaknesses manbo jumbo becomes a bit of a bore but in hindsight it went well and created a good enough rapport.

With the sales guy which would be my direct boss went much better and discuss a couple of "pretend" work situations and i think we both felt we could work together.

Now just have to wait. They are interviewing another 3 guys and then give me some feedback in two weeks or so time.

Whatever happens it was a good experience and another useful lesson in my professional life.

In conclusion if they offer me the job and the money is right i will take it.

Now going to catch a few winks and then go and buy a few things for the house. Kitchen stuff today! Catch you all later. Will try and trail journals later but as i am using the phone it might take me awhile.

I was chatting to my PT the other day and he was saying he might get himself a bike but he was worried about going a bit mad and killing himself .. I said

" you can't kill yourself ....... I can't see my abs yet ! "

Hello Everybody...

Quick update... Moved in, all furniture delivered and assembled. Just came to work to get my paintings/art work to put in apartment. Will get my TV tonight and then is just a case of putting everything away, do some cleaning, ironing and washing and I will be almost all settled.

Still need to get Arrrrrrgus to call me to arrange delivery of table and chairs as well as the sofa bed which will be for the use of you, yes you, when you come to visit!!!

Oh, yeah very happy with myself that despite the diet not being the best, the physical stress and strains of hauling everything to a third floor apartment made me lose some fat, as my muscles are all sore from all the work, my legs feel like tree trunks and my shoulders and back feel like I did 100 clean and presses!!! lol.

So pictures for the challenge updated on the first page of this journal and the frontal picture is here below for all to examine and comment.

Thought i do a quick update.

Move went well, almost all settled in. Table and chairs and sofa bed being delivered on Friday, and then just need to sort office and broadband, phone and sky, but that can wait a bit as i am verging on the skintness!!!!

First three hours of the tattoo were done, last 20mins were a bit iffy, as started feeling it more and was on the verge of "let me out!!" Carol, the tattoo artist, noticed it as well.

Her input into the tattoo was excellent and the work done so far is top notch and I am extremely happy and proud with it. Healing nicely, I would say its 80% there, so Wednesday or Thursday will call her to book the second session to finish it off. Will have pictures taken then and post, till that point you nosey ones will have to bear with me.

Havent trained for a few weeks, will go away with work today until Wednesday evening, so my first session back will be Thay Boxing on Thursday night and hopefully by next monday I will be back in the gym, with my Afterburn program (will post full details at a later stage).

Mind is well and trully fukced, a lot of sh!t has happened, particularly last wednesday where there were two considerable highs and one allmighty low. Will not post many details of it in here for the time being, have been trying to deal with it away from MT, with some help from friends, with special thanks to Andre and Mr Rack!!!!

Anyway, courtesy of my new telly and surround cinema system have been watching many movies and shall post my findings on the new version of the movie lounge. Might do it later on this morning or if no time will do it tonight at the hotel.

No pics this week as I saw no point in posting them when I have done no trainign and the food has been utterly horrendous in a couple of days.

And now, Ladies and Gentlemen, the highly anticipated return of…

(drums rolling)

THE MOVIE LOUNGE
Hosted by yours truly.

Hitman I’ve quite enjoyed it. I would class it as a proper action movie which most boys will enjoy. Haven’t played the game so have no clue how true to it, it is but I thought it was a very good movie of this genre. Good performance from Timothy Olyphant on the starring role and some good supporting performances as well. They left it completely open for a sequel as well so we should see more of this character on our cinemas. If you want a proper boys all out action movie, then you will not go wrong with this one. 7 out of 10

Southland Tales Now this one is completely open to people’s own individuality and characteristics. This movie will become a cult movie of some kind. People will either think it is outstanding or truly awful. I thought it was excellent. Several intertwining stories with several main characters, which you will manage to follow the story line with relative structure and easy. It is quite original as well. Good performances from the three main characters, The Rock as Boxer Santaro, Justin Timberlake as Private Abilene, and Sean William Scott as Roland Taverner.

Without giving too much away the story spans three days prior to a major 4th of July celebration in a much different 2008 than today. It is set in the futuristic landscape of Los Angeles on July 4, 2008, as it stands on the brink of social, economic and environmental disaster. Boxer Santaros is an action star who's stricken with amnesia. His life intertwines with Krysta Now, an adult film star developing her own reality television project, and Ronald Taverner, a Hermosa Beach police officer who holds the key to a vast conspiracy. It has love, intrigue, mistery, blackmail, revenge, treason, and action. I highly recommend seeing it for you to make your own mind about it all. I thoroughly enjoyed it 8.5 out of 10

AVP Requiem Well I was well and truly bored of it half way through it. Just wanted it to end soon, was very close to stop it half way through it but endured it to the end. Ok(ish) but nothing on the two originals. All the time either of the two “monsters” were on screen it was always in darkness and even the “predalien” was not easily identifiable. They could have made it so much better, but with the inclusion of the humans storyline, they detracted the attention from the fight between the two, supposedly, main characters of this movie. 5 out of 10

Love in Time of Cholera I don’t know if it is because it touched a nerve, or because it is truly wonderful, but I can only describe this movie as absolutely beautiful. A love story with no rival and the desperate love from a man that waits 52 years to finally have his woman. I am half way through the book and that is mesmerising. The movie picks up the essence of the book, and does it justice. I so connect with Florentino Ariza (Javier Bardem) that I can’t but give this movie a 10 out of 10. Others might disagree with me, but I found this movie inspirational, sad and anguish at moments, and liberational and absolutely amazing beautiful and happy at the end. Go and see it, but be warned it can mess with your head if your “love” relationship resembles the main characters in any way.

I Want Candy Well, I was in a bad unhappy place, so decided that I should watch a silly movie, to take my mind of things. Was expecting this to be an ok comedy with not much to it, but I was rather surprised and enjoyed it plenty. Set in fictitious Leatherhead University, two Film students, set upon making a feature movie, and for one reason or another stumble upon making a Porn movie. With some luck and ingenuity they recruit the biggest porn star around, Candy Fiveways (Carmen Electra) to be their starring lady. Some comedy, some very good scripting with intelligent conversations in it, and some actually rather good performances from Carmen Electra, the two lads, Tom Riley (Joe) and Tom Burke (Baggy) and the pretty Slater sister from Eastenders. Highly enjoyable 7 out of 10

And that is it for now fellow movie buffs, the first instalment of the Movie Lounge in my new journal. Feel free to comments on movies above and let me have your suggestions for others to watch as well. Be good!

Quick update. Tattoo is fully healed, in fact yesterday it was fully healed, so will call Carol tomorrow to arrange for second session to finish it off.

Back in Muay Thai next week as was supposed to go today but a best mate's dad went into hospital back home and he is a bad state so will pop in at his restaurant to cheer him up a bit and be there for him. So wont go to Muay Thai tonight, somethings are more important than training.

Will restart all my training fully next week, ease myself into the diet as well and kick start this Nymjam challenge, so the abs will be on show for summer.

Personal life has been up and down like a fukcing rollercoaster, but as I said to Mr Rack earlier, had enough of just surviving and will start living. Getting hobbies, new friends, a few lady friends to "entertain" me and will re-build myself to the true Paulo of yesteryears, with a bit more knowledge and maturity.

TJL is still in my mind but will stay there for the time being until a day that she stops being scared to face the fight and acknowledge her true feelings. If that day doesnt happen, so be it, i am going to be happy come what may!!!

So bring it on life, i am ready for anything and everything you throw at my face!!!!!
