I missed it , but I am going to watch it later
Having read the comments , and having seen some clips on TV yesterday though , I can quite understand what is going on
I ran a warehouse for some years, and often had to take on temporary staff , and due to the nature of the work , we had a pretty high turnover of staff
Something I learned from that time , is that it is very rare for someone who is academically clever to be useful at pretty much anything physical ! My boss was always keen for us to employ these "Geniuses" - but most of the time they were more trouble than they were worth , despite all their qualifications
It even got to the point where I started taking little "practical tests" into the interview room (much to the disgust of my boss , who accused me of insulting the candidates by doing this ) - I'd ask them to count a box of parts , - of file a list in alphabetical order etc . - The amount of University types I had work for me that seemingly had trouble counting past 20 !! I certainly hope none of them ended up in a job that required any autonomous thought !
Sounds like it's worth watching !

Isn't that the whole point of any television reality-type competition?
It's surely much more fun to watch a bunch of chronic big-head control-freaks battle to shout the loudest week after week, than watch a carefully assembled working team actually get things done.

For me the sheer joy of The Apprentice is watching self-absorbed, egocentric, alpha-male-and-female entrepreneurial types get into a lather over who's 'number one'.
It's a terrific platform for exposing just how useless this type of person really is.

I liked Raef, I could relate to how he took part in tasks, when he said, we know what weve done wrong, dont dwell, move on, simple as that.
The dude who got fired was weak anyway, didnt have any presence, in fact, strength of a wafer thin biscuit, wasnt forthcoming, as deserved really. Academically bright but perhaps in the nature of the business for the apprentice, his skill set wasnt suited. Not a strong seller but Id say his strength is in an operational behind the scenes role.
Some characters in there though, would have liked to see more of the ladies in terms of communicating, delegating, negotiating and so.
this weeks show was mainly focused around the lads, at least from my point of view.

sugar's two sidekicks didn't say anything wrong (except maybe that woman who accused raef of not labelling 3 boxers -one of them though i am sure it showed he did label it) but are a lot more "aggressive" and have a lot more to say this time round, or so it seems.
i preferred the old days of the apprentice when it was 16 good candidates and not heading towards the realms of big brother and people being selected to cause controversy and personality clashes

I agree, they encourage arrogant behaviour and edit it accordingly for maximum affect. Apprentice is still good tv, - but i can see it being ruined like most good television because of over enthusiastic producers who are after scandal to make ratings

it is still good too watch just hope it doesn't become like big brother or gordan ramsey's kitchen nightmares... the usa one!! that programme is the same difference week in week out, and looks to be very scripted! when would ramsey use the would schmuk!?

Well that`s pretty much my opinion of 99.9% of these `types` anyway lol, this lot did nothing to change that.
The task in hand ? Well I`m no salesman but f*ck me between 16 of them(supposedly some of the brightest business heads around )not one managed to assess the basic things properly that needed to be done, seriously lads I knew at school who were absolutely sh1te academically yet knew how to make money would wipe the floor with these I bet.
I did find it strangely interesting and entertaining but I sincerely hope to god neither me or any of my loved ones ever have to rely on people like this for something important.

I hate the way people are calling him a Barrister on the show - he is not a Barrister, he is a posh twat just graduated from University who has just shelled out 20k to do a Bar Vocational Course. He hasn't even got a job yet, he is not yet a Barrister, he is nothing.

Also, I dislike this notion that people seem to have that people academically bright are useless. This is nothing short of a load of bollocks. It is true that people with degrees and qualifications are sometimes useless, and numpties at even basic tasks. But the same can be said about people who aren't well educated. There are people who can be bright and have common sense, you know.
