I hope he does well to be honest, still hope he appeals his olympic ban which i think he still is planning to do, he still is the best sprinter we have and it annoys me at all the bad press he gets when myerscough (not sure on the spelling) went unmentioned during the european indoor debarcle.

What will he bring to the team? A super fast winger or does he have previous RL experience?

No experience apart from his cameo appearances in NFL europe. I think his pace is as good a reason as any to give him a go and his size.

If he can't make it as Wide Receiver in the NFL, which would make better use of his sprinting talent, I fail to see how he could make it in Rugby.

You need more than fast feet to get anywhere in professional rugby. Or practically any other team sport for that matter.

This reminds me of "Forrest Gump" when he is on the field because he can run fast. He gets the ball and they yell "RUN". Will chambers be like that???? lol. or adam sandler in water boy.

ORIGINAL: Integra You need more than fast feet to get anywhere in professional rugby. Or practically any other team sport for that matter. He is built to run fast, he is not built to withstand the pressure of top class rugby. Not to mention the huge amount of aerobic training required. To train for this will take a very long time (non-assisted of course ). The ins and outs of the game - at the highest level - can not be taught fairly quickly and he will not have time for a season or two. He is 29 years old and will not be cheap.

Shows what a ****ing bunch of retarded ****wits we are as far as treating out athletes goes. We give them crap facilities from day 1. We harp on sanctimoniously about drug use and try to catch our athletes in the act whilst the rest of the world supports their athletes. We don't support it in our culture, where other nations embrace it. **** it, we don't deserve to see glory as a nation...let's force our potentially best athletes in a certain field into reality TV and completely different sports at a low level
