today was the very first day that the diet went perfect! even better than perfect! I managed to eat 2 slices of bread less and I havn't had any cheats (pretty much every day i have cheated in some way i.e. small square of chocolate etc. I know its only small but its still cheating in my eyes) I also had 8 cups of green tea today! also did some cardio: Skipping: 25 mins mainly at about 70% but there were about 5, 30 second sprints thrown in there.

today did about 60 mins pretty fast paced cardio diet wasnt top notch however I know now a couple of things need to be corrected I have decided to drop the eggs as I cant hack them and add in another chicken breast

Just confirms to me how little the majority seem to know as its all I see instructors teaching nowadays. Personally, I think you should be bulking right now, but each to their own!

Also been down the training with no diet route, i think almost everybody has if they didnt train with somebody experienced. I`m with riot, i reckon a good long bulk will do you better than cutting now, lay some quality tissue down. Best of luck with whichever you opt for though.

cheers for popping in 1mr and dale. The reason why Im not bulking at the moment is because when I was younger I was always ''the fat kid'' that was one of my main reasons for starting weights. anyway I lost most of the weight when I was younger but never got rid of it all that is why now I want to for the first time be nice and slim just for the summer and then Im going on a 1 year bulk! yes 1 year! anyway did HIIT today wasnt great as my legs were soooo sore from yesterdays cardio only realised this when I started my run so I did: 5, 30 sec sprints with 30 second rest in between

and btw I agree that yes I think every trainer goes through a phase of exercising without a diet

Been overweight as a nipper myself mate, not nice at all, got myself very underweight due to being very insecure about myself. But then was insecure about being small, thats when the weights came in. I ended up on an 18month bulk it were most enjoyable. If you bulk sensibly, you wont have high bodyfat, and because you will be carrying more muscle, you can carry higher bf whilst having a good shape. Its also esier to loose fat when youve got more muscle imo. Best of luck whichever path you follow though.

ye well when I started my first bulk I gained a stone in 2 months, as you can imagine I got alot of fat from that and also its something Ive been thinking about for months and the decision is cut! thanks for the kind words though mate

today was push db bench press: 25 x 5, 25, x 5, 22.5 x 6, 22.5 x 6 db shoulder press: 20 x 5, 17.5 x 6, 17.5 x 6, 17.5 x 6 also did 2000m on the rower. today was a decent workout however I went to do dips and the pain in my chest was unbearable so couldnt do them diet was also not great as i had a few things I shouldnt have

today was my rest day also my cheat day didnt cheat much either so was pretty good. I cheated enough that I will be satisfied for another week though

How many Big Macs was it then? Hi mate. About the same age so thought I'd have a quick read. You in your 1st or 2nd year of college? Are you mainly training for looks or strength? Anyway GL with the cut!

I started off training for looks but this turned into more strenght based training next bulk will be all about looks because im stronger than I look. cheers mate, thanks for dropping in

today was pull was good enough day went a bit lighter on the deadlifts, just felt like it did more reps though so it was ok deadlifts: 80 x 8, 80 x 8, 80 x 8 wide grip chins: 4, 4, 4 alternate standing dumbbell curls: 12.5 x 8, 10 x 10, 12.5 x 8
