ORIGINAL: FrankenJim Cheers all poped in to JS and i asked 3 Staff and they all looked at me like i was on drugs i gave up after that and headed to a health shop, And NO LUCK! GRRR so poped to another health shop and................Got 4 Packs of Organic Brown Linseeds 500g Per Pack £1.69 Per pack. Which i didnt think was Too bad. 1 Pk of Pumpkin seeds 1 Pk of sunflower seeds Are the Pumpkin and sunfolder good nige/any one? They're good for omega-6 fat. Also can i Blender all of the above into powder and mix 10g of each into my Protein bars and shakes? You should use 4 parts linseed powder, 1 part pumpkin powder and 1 part sunflower powder to get a decent omega-3:omega-6 ratio. Regards So a examplae would be 40g/10g/10g Correct Nige? And would you recomend wacking them in protein bars? or beeter off in a shake? I Just remeber you saying how to wash it down with 300ml fuild, so in the protein bars they may be dry? Sweet I knew i heard pumpkin seeds being good for you. The sunflower seeds whats there strong point? Thanks and Regards

Sweet I knew i heard pumpkin seeds being good for you. The sunflower seeds whats there strong point? They're full of fats, fibre, protein, vitamins & minerals just like all seeds. Thanks and Regards

Id not recommend putting flax in a shake, it goes into 'gooy lumpy water' with a strange taste of....nuttyy....earthy...bitty....mush? Not pleasent, but fine if you say mix it into Muesli (3:1 ratio of muesli:flax or else you just taste flax).

You'd need to tell us where your fats come from and in what quantitys so we could figure out a rough Omega 3/6/9 numbers your eating and adjust to get an 'ideal' ratio. Personally i just try to get X ammount of omega 3 to 'cover me', and a balanced source of mono/polys/sats.

I have 8 egg whites (LEW) each day of the week and it's been doing nothing but good things for me Some guys eat 100 egg whites per week, and I can't see anything wrong with that as long as it suits the diet

I thought you said that you were "bunged-up"? Eating powdered linseeds will make you produce more poo. There's no "healthy 2-3 zone". Healthy is when your poo is soft but well-formed. Bowel movement frequency is irrelevant.
